The office staff and Dr. insisted on 2 visits for the only reason I can tell, was to get more money. I waited 1.5 hours for each appointment for a 2 minute test that could have easily been done in one. I even heard the Dr say as she was typing up the information in their computer, "How do I charge for the same proceedure twice?"Will never go back to Her or this business.

I have been going to Dr. B for over 3 years and she is the best doctor I have ever been to. She really cares about her patients and goes that extra mile which really helps when you are suffering from chronic pain like I am.If you are her patient count yourself lucky because there is not a better doctor out there.

She's heard it all before and lets you know you are not alone. She could tell exaclly which trigger pts to push, she did a few manual tests I've never had before & found extra weakness. I wanted to get started with the PT but the amount of pain, and the neurological symptoms made her to decide to go slowly. I had other problems that hadn't been addressed that needed to be taken care of first. She is great at listening and using talk to reduce anxiety, its a great non-med way to get though a procedure and feel good.

Dr. Buchanan is highly recommended! I put up with the poor parking and frustrating phone labyrinth scheme because she is a very caring doctor who takes the time to evaluate and analyze the whole problem to work towards the best solution. Without understatement, Dr. Buchanan and her nurse have saved my life and have recognized life-threatening symptoms when it really counts. However, I always have to keep reminding myself when trying to call the office or pull into the parking lot.(large speed bumps, not a well thought out plan or solution for in front of a pain center!)

She talks a lot, she listens . . . but she doesn't hear. She--and maybe more the requirements of her office (to give her the benefit of doubt)--treat everyone FIRST like they are drug addicts after medications. There is excessive bureaucratic feel . . . lots of paperwork, questionable tests . . . and for me, not much results. You feel like you are being processed through a particular set of protocols (somewhat wrote a book and this is how to treat pain). Yo don't feel like a human being. But then, that's generally the nature of our medical system (their training), and particularly true of pain specialists.
