Dr. Laura A Rush, DO

I've been seeing Dr. Rush for about 8 years, she is absolutely amazing. Even with not seeing her for a few years (I am not sick often). She remembers me, my family and always make it a point to make time to ask how they are doing. Fantastic listener, and always advocates asking questions. The only drawback is it is almost impossible to contact her directly unless you make an office visit, emails are answered by staff and the staff just doesn't seem like they want to be there.

I have had Dr Rush as my PCP for over a year now. Every time I get tests done, I have to repeatedly call and/or email the office in order to get the results. They frequently don’t return calls or messages, and I had to wait weeks to get results back. The care the provide is seriously lacking, and no one takes responsibility and follow up with patients. Communication is awful and it is impossible to contact Dr Rush directly unless you make an in-person visit. Dr. Rush is nice and listens well, but the staff in her office are negligent and unresponsive.

I have been to see her and left there feeling like I wasted my time. Her nursing staff was very horrible when I tried to contact them for more advice and to make other appointments. the doctor seems to never worry about wanting to see me or caring if she does see me and when I was there I was very rushed and felt ignored.
