Dr. Laura Anne Cecich Weston, MD

I saw Dr. Weston for the first time this past summer. It was my scheduled 12 week appointment during pregnancy. During the routine ultrasound at OBGYN of the Palm Beaches, we learned that our baby's heartbeat was gone. The ultrasound tech did not tell us, but it was painfully obvious. After waiting for 45 minutes, Dr. Weston called us into her office. She did not even tell us - she just confirmed when we asked. She performed a D&C for a missed miscarriage and sent me home with no expectation of pain or bleeding. The total time she spent talking to me during the whole process was less than 15 minutes - her demeanor is blunt and abrasive. The next weekend, I experienced contractions that kept me awake for three nights, bled more than I ever had, and passed clots. My husband took me to see Dr. Weston the following Monday. After meeting with me (doubled over in pain) and seeing retained tissue on the ultrasound, she refused to admit anything was wrong. Her exact words were "I don't… understand why you are in pain or bleeding. Maybe you should go to the ER?" The worst part is that I believed her. After another 3 weeks of pain and bleeding, I met with another doctor. He was shocked at the amount of tissue remaining, and performed an emergency D&C. I awoke from surgery in no pain. After 4 weeks of pain and bleeding, I had forgotten what that felt like. I am writing this review to share my experience. Dr. Weston is hopefully great with certain aspects of OBGYN, but I do not recommend her if you are pregnant. I sincerely hope this never happens to anyone else.

Doctor Weston is one of the Best Doctors I ever had. she is very sweet, patient, and takes the time to explain the problem. I love my Doctor.!!!

DOES NOT LISTEN.CAUSED MY CHILD TO DIE IN HER CARE AND WILL NEVER VISIT HER OFFICE AGAIN....

Dr Weston does not listen to patients and treats them like dirt. She does not take the time to look into major issues. She told me that I was healthy and the truth of the matter is I was not!!! I went to true professionals of Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and they discovered not only do I have major problems they were glaringly obvious. I would not reccommend this doctor or facility. She is rude and uninformed.

Dr. Weston (at the Flagler office) was recommended to me by one of my co-workers as I had not had a GYN in quite a few years....no insurance. Made an appointment. She examined me thoroughly, recommended the tests that I needed. She not only gave me the proper diagnosis, but was very helpful in recommending treatment. I needed an ultrasound & biopsy which was done by Dr. Simon at the PGA office. After going so many years w/out a GYN I am not only relieved but happy to have Dr. Weston as my Dr.
