Dr. Laura Hargraves Wile, MD

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Wile. She listen to my concerns and was decisive and concise with her diagnosis.

I told Dr. Wile about my asthma symptoms and she said I could either take an over the counter med or "just suffer." She made it seem like it wasn't important to deal with it. I take as few meds as possible so I "just suffered." It wasn't terrible. Then she left town and I had to get a new doctor who immediately ordered lung x-rays, asthma meds and an inhaler. Turns out I have irreversible lung thickening and scarring from the untreated asthma. You really have to be your own advocate with Dr. Wile. I know it's hard to get a doctor, and she's knowledgeable and nice, so just make sure you research all your symptoms and get what you need if you work with her.

Very arrogant and not patient friendly. Doesn’t listen to the patient at all. Orders unnecessary tests!!

Although I have confidence in her medical knowledge, she tends to be a little abrupt and dismissive in her manner sometimes. I always feel like she is checking boxes to get to her next patient. Maybe I am expecting too much.

Long time Heritage patient along with my parents and siblings. Go to them for primary care, women’s care and endocrinology (thyroid). After a weekend of scary gastrointestinal symptoms, their office couldn’t fit me in til Tuesday afternoon. Upon checkin I was notified I was scheduled with a different dr and Dr Wile wasn’t in. Since I needed to be seen I asked if I could just see that dr and they said if I did I won’t be able to see Dr Wile anymore as PCP. Even after insisting I don’t want to switch PCPs, they insisted it was policy. This office treats you like just a patient number and revenue. I left and went to urgent care. Not worth giving them my copay or insurance money

Good doctor; trusted her with my husband's care when he was at his most vulnerable after three major surgeries. Professional. Answers questions thoroughly and respectfully.
