Dr. Laura Sandra Willingmyre, MD

After dealing with numerous Doctors I can honestly say she is the worst Dr. I ever had the displeasure of knowing. The VA should be ashamed of themselves for hiring such an incompetent person, I have a hard time even addressing her as a Dr because of how unproffesional she is, from the first visit to the last one. Very curt and unsure of herself. After having over 7 surgeries and dealing with surgeons and primary care Doctors, once again, she is at the very bottom of my list. She has no idea what she is doing and if she's not sure what to do then she just drops you. Even if your on narcotic pain pills because of the horrendous pain your in, if she's not sure what to do, once again, she just dropped me. I was receiving 7-8 pills of oxcycodone daily and 100mg of morphine daily, I calledafter 2 weeks, not a month, but she made me make 40 mile round trip every 2 weeks to pick up my medication, I've spoken to other Dr's about this and they just shake thier heads, saying thier is no… excuse for a Dr. to do this to a patient. To get back to my daily pills, I called to get a refill and I'm told " The Dr. said she won't refill anymore. No reason, no excuse, nothing. I went to two different advocates and got the same exact answer" Well she's a Dr. tgheres not much I can do", if you have to go to the VA, try to get a new Dr., I found it impossible to do. Oh, by the way, she told me she has THIRTY-FIVE HUNDRED patients, do the math, takes FOUR months just to see her and then its just downhill anyway, you'll get no satisdfaction. If your checking on her, do your homework and save yourself the aggravation and get a NEW DR., someone who likes what they are doing and will help you.
