Dr. Laura C Wolsko, MD

Dr. Wolsko was my endocrinologist for 5 years. Time after time, I told her that my hypothyroid symptoms were not getting any better although I was at optimal levels. She brushed me off, time and time again. When I did my own research and asked to be switched to a mixture of T4/T3 medication, she refused. When I asked for a complete thyroid panel, she refused. She then briefly mentioned that I have Hashimotos, which was something I heard for the first time. How does a doctor forget to tell their patient that they have an autoimmune condition?! And then refuse to run tests on it? She briefed over it as though it was the weather. I left my last appointment in tears. 5 years with this doctor and there was no progress in my health and condition had worsened. She did not care. Worst doctor I have ever met. So stuck in her ways and needs to go back to med school.

Very smart, thorough, lots of creative ideas and willing to go the extra mile if you need it.

I only seem to make comments about doctors when they are seriously bad or seriously good. Dr, Wolsko is more than good. ... She's the best! For me, she did what other doctors couldn't - get my meds right (five gold stars just for that!), spend time with me, be concerned with overall health and called to check up on things.
