Dr. Laura Senn Zimmermann, MD

Don’t expect to get an appointment with this Doctor any time soon! I called & next available appointment for a new patient was three months! Ridiculous!

Dr Zimmerman was very informative and patient and did not rush me at all. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions.

Dr. Zimmerman saw me 45 minutes after my appointment time. A nurse actually came before she did and expressed surprise that I still had not been seen yet. I could have overlooked this but when the doctor did come, I found her impatient, uninterested in addressing my questions/concerns and dismissive. I have seen most of the doctors in this practice, this was by far my worst experience.

I switched to Dr. Zimmermann just before getting pregnant with my first child. I had some complications with this pregnancy, and Dr. Zimmermann was very helpful answering my questions as well as calming my nerves. When my condition worsened and the decision was made to have an emergency C section, I was scared but I knew I was in the best hands. Dr. Zimmermann also delivered our second child, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I highly recommend her, she’s extremely professional and is very caring with her patients.

It had been getting difficult to get in touch with my doctor, so when I was looking to change, several friends recommended Dr. Zimmermann. So glad they did. She’s phenomenal. Every time I’m there I’m seen quickly, Dr. Z puts me right at ease, and she always thoughtfully and patiently answers all my questions. She is super gentle and comforting and so knowledgeable. So happy to have found her!

She's the best - hands down. When I needed an emergency appointment her office scheduled me, she follows up and she's extremely professional and has an excellent bedside manner. I haven't been pregnant yet but once I get to that point in life I can't wait for her to guide me through it!

I saw Dr. Zimmermann for three years, I'm not sure why I went back to her after the first visit, call me a glutton for punishment. She was awful. I have never felt so judged by a doctor before in my life. She made me feel like I was disgusting with the way that she looked at me. The straw that broke the camels back was when I asked her about changing my birth control and wanted to know more about a specific drug. Her answer was "theres a pamphlet in the lobby"... thank you for directing me to a pamphlet when I'm here paying you and asking you for your opinion. If you are a young women looking to be treated with respect and dignity when you are laying spread eagle in stirrups... I would avoid Dr. Zimmerman like the plague

Don't get cancer if you have this doctor. Not only did she fail to call me and advise me on my next step after I was informed by the radiologist that I had a malignant tumor in breast, but she also put up obstacles to me getting a timely MRI. The radiologist fought with the insurance company for me to get the MRI and advised me to seek out an oncologist and surgeon. This doctor offered no help.
