Dr. Laurel Eve Blackman, DO

DO NOT GO TO HER if you are going to better your self…she will make you feel so much worse after talking to her. She is the rudest, and most ignorant human I have ever met. She will talk to you with no respect at all she talks like she is a kindergartner teacher talking to a 5 year old child. She treats mental health as a joke because she acts like she thinks she knows what mental health patients are going through and what they really need. Well you clearly don’t know anything about how to treat people, you label them. We are all different and respond to situations differently than how others may respond. She is a JOKE!!!!!!!!!! Please save yourself time and money and most of all your mental well being and don’t waste your time even thinking about going to talk to her. If I could give her a zero star rating I would….but of course this page won’t allow a rating any lower than one star

Dr. Blackman is completely ignorant regarding autism and neurodivergence. She should not be practicing medicine with this precipice. She is ableist and believes people with autism are a burden in need of constant babysitting. I was in the hospital being treated for depression and Dr. Blackman yelled at me, “Don’t start crying again!”
