Dr. Laurel Elizabeth Marques, MD

Dr. Marques is a nice person. I have no axe to grind with her. But I have been trying to get my fathers prescriptions called in to a new pharmacy, and thought it had been handled. When I called back to follow up, her assistant informed me that since my father had not been there in almost 1 year, she could not follow thru on the request. But had I not called...I would not have known that. I was unhappy that I didn't get a call back to be told they could not comply with the request.

Dr Marques is a wonderful doctor. I like her because she listens and really analyzes her patients while catering to their needs while still remaining the status of being a health care professional. She will always give you the good and bad points and make or refer other suggestions to satisfy her patients. She makes you feel very comfortable to talk to her and her patient's care is her main concern. I would not switch to any other doctor for any costs. she makes sure all of your test results and treatments are up to date and most of all she is really sympathetic and shows empathy to her patients, now does it get any better than this...Dr Marques you are number one and I love you.

We are happy with Dr. Marques as our general physician. We've been going to her for several years now and have not had any problems. We highly recommend her. She always greets us with a smile, takes time to listen and is thorough with her diagnosis. And the staff that works with her are courteous, polite and professional. The office runs well.

This is the most EXPENSIVE practice I have ever been to. Aside from the astronomical fees, the testing and ancillary treatments (flu shots, tetnaus booster), etc. were also out of this world. It was like all she did was look for other income potential while she had me in there. I don't mind her owning an expensive car, PLEASE don't count on me making the monthly payments. THis practice has priced themselves out of my budget. This is a great example why healthcare is in the shape it is in today. There is absolutely no stopping the overabundance of tests. I am now with another more economical and pragmatic physician.

She was very kind attentive and helpful

I saw Dr. Marques several times. At first someone always answered the phone. Now no one ever answers the phone. I had a physical and was told to call to get a refill on migraine medicine. I called 2 days ahead and no one returned a call until late friday saying she would not refill my medication. I was treated VERY pourly by her staff and she wanted me to come back to the office for cholesterol testing which I had already done and chose not to take meds for my cholesterol. Why the migraine refill had anything to do with that....I don't know. This office and DR. stink!
