Dr. Lauren C Abbate, MD

Dr. Abbate is by far the best primary care doctor I've ever had. She is warm, compassionate, and very knowledgable. She is very thoughtful when creating a plan for any issue you may have. I have been a nurse for 45 years and I know an excellent provider when I see one. I cannot recomment her enough. She is amazing!!

I've been her patient for several years now and, although she's a very kind, caring person, she's been wrong basically every time she diagnosed me, and the resulting damage has ranged from just a minor extension of illness to a major secondary injury. So, she's best for if you just need a checkup every year.

I had the pleasure of having her as my pc back when she worked for EBNHC...I was devastated when she left. Here we are about 15 yrs later and I still find myself talking about this amazing Dr. who always made me feel well informed and comfortable before leaving her office..I decided to google her to see by chance if she was practicing and to my delight she is..Although she is not taking new patients at the time I will keep checking and patiently waiting until she is.

After having no primary care physician for many years, I interviewed three physicians before finding the greatest: Dr. Abbate. It's been seven years, I think, and I'm very pleased that I was so careful to find the best for me.

Doctor Abbate is wonderful, funny and easy going. She has been my primary care doctor for over 5 years. I am in my 30's and feel as though she is a thorough, thoughtful doctor.

Dr. Abbate has been my doctor since 1993. Her primary concern is the patient in front of her. Nothing else matters for that time, and the bedside manner and compassion she has is not something that can be taught. She was born to be a doctor. Seriously, I will follow her anywhere. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Dr. Abbate really takes the time to get to know you and all the factors that contribute to your health. She is very caring and makes sure that she has answered any questions you have. She uses her expertise to thoroughly diagnose and treat your problem. She has helped me countless times to overcome health issues, and I would highly recommend her if you are looking for a great primary care doctor!

I have never, ever had a doctor as kind, thorough and trustworthy as Dr. Abbate. I would refer her without the slightest hesitation to anyone! The staff at MGH Downtown Crossing is fantastic too. All doctors' offices should be this well run. Thank goodness for Dr. Abbate!
