Dr. Lauren Denise Bales, MD

Never have I ever experienced such poor bedside manner. If i could not give you a star I would. You don't even deserve one. NOTHING WILL MAKE IT EASIER LOSING YOUR BABY. NOTHING!

While I only visited with Dr. Bales once, her medical assistant Ashley was by far the worst medical assistant I have ever had to work with. She never called back even if I left messages for her. Despite the fact that Dr. Bales suspected I had a tumor, scheduling an MRI took me over 2 months because of the lack of professional promptness. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Bales or West Coast OBGYN.

I found Dr. Bales insulting and unprofessional. She stood up to leave three times during my appointment while I was still talking, and seemed annoyed by my questions. Meeting with her was the last straw with West Coast OB/GYN, whose customary practice is to have all patients rotate through each doctor and two nurses. They failed to diagnose that I had an infection which was caught immediately by the doctor that I switched to. Shortly after switching, I had a chance encounter with a womann whose 4 month old was delivered by Dr. Bales. She told me that immediately after delivering the baby, Dr. Bales departed without a word. Dr. Bales is inattentive and has a horrible manner. I did not want her delivering my baby and recommend staying away from this doctor.
