Dr. Lauren Kay Banks, MD

I’ve gone to Dr. Banks for years. She recently performed a robotic assisted hysterectomy on me and I had little pain and healed quicker than expected. She is one of the kindest people I know.

Dr. Banks was my observations for my son who was born five months ago and I loved going to her throughout my pregnancy! She was always willing to take the time I needed to discuss my questions or even just to listen while I vented about feeling poorly late in pregnancy with normal aches and pains. She was open to discussing what I wanted for the birth and delivered my son. Her office was always on time and I never waited for more than ten minutes of that.

I have Type 1 Diabetes and she had no reservations about being able to care for me and did not want to use any interventions during delivery unless it was medically necessary (a plus for me!). When I lost my baby in the first trimester, she hugged me and let me cry in her arms. She is so sweet and caring and is exactly what I was looking for in an obstetrician. I will be using her for my next pregnancy as well as my annual checkups. Her nurse is also a wonderful person and I'm so glad to see her face when I arrive for my appointments. She always remembers me and talks with me about how I've been doing before her computer chart is even open. They are a perfect team at the Flower Mound office.

I selected Dr Banks as my doctor after going through her profile online. There were no reviews on her at that time but I felt inclined to try her. Dr Banks is a young and amazing Doctor, easy to talk to, doesn't waste time, and very capable. She even gave my daughter a lovely gift after delivery...amazing. I would recommend her any day.
