Dr. Bockhorn was thorough in explaining my test results. Very personable. On time. Also, Dr. Bockhorn gave me multiple treatment options from conservative to more aggressive for my condition.

My first time there was not bad at all she sat down and actually took the time to explain things to me and what kind of options I had went over everything step by step she did a really good job

I came to see Dr. Acree for acute hip pain. After he looked at my imaging he determined that the cause of my pain was spine related which is a chronic condition that I had. He asked Dr . Buckhorn to look at my chart and see if there is any immediate medical advice to help with me severe pain. I was very impressed with how attentive Dr Buckhorn was to listen to me and willing to explain the MRI images that show the compression of the nerve. I had a spinal injection yesterday and it looks like my pain management doctor injected the wrong intervertebral nerve because my symptoms didn't improve much after the injection. She explained the treatment options and was very conservative about surgery. I like that approach, I didn't feel that she was pushy to convince me do it. I would definitely recommend her!

I was seen for lower back pain. Doc gave a thorough exam and went over recent report I had done for a kidney stone that also revealed lumbar issues. Following up with further testing to see how deep the issues are. I was very comfortable with Dr. Buckhorn and she was very professional and made me feel at ease that we will get results for my well being.

Nice Dr but the result was see a general practice on degenerative disc repetitive and couldn’t prescribe a muscle relaxant and directed me to general practice Dr. Have not slept in 4 days disappointing

I met Dr. Buckhorn a few months ago when I had an emergency with my back. She was referred to me by Erin Locklear. And I was so pleasantly surprised how sweet and nice she was and reassuring. She was spot on and getting the job done that needed to be done, which was eventually having back surgery in December and has followed me through my recovery every step of the way. Although I’m not recovered yet, I’m now in physical therapy and walking on my own. She is very professional very kind and I think a very good doctor. I had a great first time visit. We you are in pain it is frustrating with exams with the pushing or pulling in pain areas. Dr. Bockhorn was gentle, polite, answer all my questions and she explained my exam & treatment throughly. I left my appointment understanding what was ahead for my recovery journey.

My appointment with Dr Bockhorn went very well, better than anticipated. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Walked me through all the steps I could choose from and gave me her recommendations. I’d recommend her to anyone needing anything to do with your spinal cord.
