Some physicians are good at their craft. Dr Lauren Jenkins is EXCEPTIONAL! She is compassionate, thorough, and very knowledgeable. She listens carefully and then provides straight forward steps to follow to help you achieve your health care goals. Amazing!

Dr. Jenkins is a warm, caring professional. I originally had 2 appointments with another doc. As my 3rd appointment arrived, I found out that doc was no longer at this site. I was very disappointed. Other women might understand how hard is to change gynecologists. Well, Dr. Jenkins came into the room and told me she had read my chart but she'd rather talk to me about my history. That conversation led to a great appointment. She made it it so easy to talk about difficult, personal issues

Dr. Jenkins seems very nice, but the visit seemed a bit rushed. I wish she revisited my conditions and previous tests etc. to address my concerns.

The office is very responsive and easy to communicate with, which I really appreciate. Dr. Jenkins has good bedside manner and is friendly, and she would be great for basic GYN care. However, I have a more complicated GYN condition (endometriosis) and found her to be dismissive of my concerns and she was unwilling to involve me in my own care plan. To her credit, Dr. Jenkins recognized the signs of my condition and diagnosed me early on. But her understanding of endometriosis is outdated and she does not recognize her own limitations in treating it. If you have endo and get to the point where you need surgery, I would suggest having it done by a specialist who does excision surgery instead. By her own admission, she does 2-3 endo surgeries a year, whereas specialists do 30+ endo surgeries a month.
