Dr. Lauren Hilary Muangman, MD

Dr Muangman had been recommended by a friend so I had high hopes. She can be pleasant but I found her to be patronizing and lacking empathy. She was dismissive of my concerns and missed some key basic tests, which meant I lost valuable time in treating a painful condition.

What can I say except she is one of the most excellent doctors I know. Office is clean, efficient, and the doctor is amazing. I had been suffering with an auto immune that was undiagnosed. My primary care, internist, knew it was there and game me a list of “to does” to know which one I had. Lupus? Cancer? among others were considered possible. I went for testing even as far as Hopkins as nothing definitive was showing up. Towards the bottom of the list was GYN doc. Unfortunately I waded through every other doctor before going to Dr. Maungman! When she took one look at me, in the stirrups, and she said did you know? And there it was my diagnosis! I will be forever indebted to her. Simply the best!

Great doctor - kind, informative, and not judgmental. Actually engaged me in conversation and didn't just push me out the door!
