Dr. Laurence Ehrlich, MD

Doctor Ehrlich does not care about his patients. He doesn't listen and he pacifies concerns. After waiting for over an hour in the stuffy exam room, we asked if the AC can be turned on because we were sweating and hot. We were told NO and laughed at by the beyond rude and disrespectful office staff. Then Dr.Ehrlich walked in and said just close the blinds and it will be cooler in the room! Dr. Ehrlich continued this disregarding mentality by dismissing the pain I've been experiencing and told me to rest and call back on Monday - 5 days later. The prescription he sent over to the pharmacy needed additional information from him and by Tuesday - 6 days later this still hasn't been done. I called more than 5 times on Monday to relay that I have not been feeling better and that perhaps a knee brace (that requires a script) would alleviate my pain. On Tuesday I called again at 8:30am and was brushed off and told to make another appointment if I wanted to speak with the Dr. While… making the appointment with receptionist, the Dr. ironically called me back so he could leave a voicemail- which told me that if I wasn't happy then I should call my Congressman!!! Because he left a message, I called back and asked to speak with the Dr. He refused to even listen to me, he kept talking during the 2 minute phone call and then hung up on me before I had a chance to say more than 5 words! There has been zero customer service and 100% disregard to patient. I will find another Dr. because Dr. Ehrlich is not an advocate for his patients and has demonstrated multiple times that he does not care.

If you want mediocre care and just someone to keep refilling your prescriptions this is the place to be The wait time is very long the office looks old and nasty. The office manager is so unprofessional and rude and loud and just because There is a cheap plastic window at the front desk Does not mean you cannot be heard screaming and cursing over the phone at your patience. He rushes through your records without waiting for a response. He doesn't listen to you.

Dr. Ehrlich has been my primary care doctor for almost 20 years. I find him not just knowledgeable and caring but I like his humour and personality as well. The two latter traits are very important, especially if you need to see a doctor on a regular basis. In this age of *over scrutinizing* (of patients), it's impressive to find a Dr who really *listens* to their patient before diagnosing and prescribing "by the book." He has been extremely flexible with me regarding cost (I have no insurance) and takes your situation into consideration before recommending a treatment. I add this part in response to what a disgruntled patient said in another review, "He asks me what I want to do about it!" This patient is missing the point about how Dr Ehrlich is exhibiting common sense and practicality (as well as sensitivity) when he asks this to a patient. There are often more ways than one to treat medical conditions and he actually asks for patient feedback BEFORE prescribing! That is a GOOD… thing in my book! As far as the glass partition and sign on the window no one should take this personally; an office management style and is done for the benefit of the practice, and I have never experienced any of the staff being rude, not the receptionist or any of the nurses and certainly not Dr. Ehrlich! :)

EXcellent Dr. Very through and patient . THE office personal are friendly and knowledgeable. Can always expect great service. I have been a patient for about 7 years

This was the most rude office staff I have ever been to. The Dr. allows it. I would not recommend them.

Dr. Ehrlich decided to no longer allow me to be his patient after a heated discussion with staff manager. As one enters office and approaches frosted glass window window to staff and sign in ledger there were many hand written commands. DO NOT TAP ON WINDOW. WE SEE YOU!!!. WE WILL GET TO YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I stood in front of window arms at side waiting for someone to acknowledge my arrival and appointment. I felt like a bad child made to stand and look at wall. I heard irrelevant conversations as staff took their time to gossip and talk about plans for lunch and more until ready to respond. Humiliating!!! I tried to share this info with Dr. Ehrlich several times but he was disinterested. Dr. Ehrlich is a mediocre doctor at best. A doctor that primarily sends his patients to other specialists. I had been a patient of his for many years and serious problems ensued after I received a letter telling me to find another doctor (finding another doctor getting meds etc).… Being told by a doctor that you are no longer welcome in his practices a very emotional experience. I was devastated.

Went out of his way to follow-up on ER/ hospital care by phone and family visit.

Dr. Ehrlich has a very odd bedside manner. I felt as though he wasn't there. No matter what the problem is, whether you are sick, coughing, choking, broken bones,...it doesn't matter, he always answers you the same: he says "Well, what do YOU want to do?" Well.....What I want to do is find a new Doctor!
