Dr. Laurie A Kabins, MD

Dr. Kabins is treating me for lower lumbar pain. I was an acute case and she rearranged her schedule to fit me in immediately. She spent time explaining my problem and options and talked me through the procedure and what to expect. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Kabins and CSM hospital.

She is incredibly patronizing and does not address all pain issues. Her staff is very nice. However, I don't find her giving any new insight into how to manage pain.

I've been seeing Dr Kabins for over a year now for chronic cervical pain and also fibromyalgia and she has always taken the time to listen to me at each appt and doesn't rush me. She really cares about her patients and how best to treat their pain. I trust her with my health. I highly recommend seeing her.

I really don't like what her office does. They never answer the phone when you call or need to make appt. It's a machine you always answer to. I don't believe she understand how your pain is and what day of life you live in pain. I will never recommend her or even return.

I've seen this physician twice now and she highly impresses me. She listens and asks questions to nail down causal generators in augmenting your pain management. She actually trys to resolve your pain issues in the manner suited for your lifestyle. I wish more physicians were as resolute and results oriented as this doctor. She offers more options for resolution than other physicians I've used in the same system. Keep up the good work!
