Dr. Laurie Jean Morris, MD

The best OBGYN I have seen in years. She listened to my concerns, didn't dismiss my pain as "just cramps", she truly heard my pleas and she is on track to help me. I have finally found a doctor who treats me with respect and compassion. She is a treasure!!!!

I can't think of a single bad thing to say about Dr. Morris or her staff. They are prompt, courteous and sincere in all they do. I chose Dr. Morris for my pregnancy before I was ever pregnant. I interviewed her and she answered all the questions I had and really made me feel good about my plan for having a family. All of my appointments for the pregnancy were easy to schedule and on time. Only once was my appointment changed and it was do to another one of her patients had an emergency C-section. When it came my turn to deliver she came to the hospital and checked on me 3 times and then when I had my baby at 1230am she was there with me again. Through my entire pregnancy I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I hope she is still in Puyallup when it's time for me to have my next baby.

Dr Morris is by far one of the most rudest obgyn I have ever came across she is inconsidrate,rude,and has you in and out like a soup kitchen any question you ask she answers you like your dumb like did you really just asked that she has no bed side manner she just cares about getting her day over with run fast never go there I thought multicare was bad nope she has them beat by far

Love how she actually cares about your thoughts and concerns.

I did not know a medical experience could be this welcoming from the staff to the doctor. The office staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Her medical assistant is beyond helpful. And the doctor herself, I could not say enough wonderful things about. She is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. She takes the time to make sure your questions are answered and you understand what is happening. You feel confident in her decisions and ability. I have always said I would take a good doctor over good bed side manner, but in this case you absolutely have both. An excellent, excellent doctor, who you really feel cares. I am so happy with my decision in this physician.

I was referred to Dr. Morris by a friend who had an excellent experience with her. Choosing an OBGYN is a very personal choice, but I would never go to anyone again. She has seen me throughout my last 2 pregnancies and performed my c-sections. Dr. Morris has always left options open for me, given me many choices when it comes to procedures and prescriptions. I feel like she is not only my Dr, but my friend. I feel like she really cares.

I saw Dr. Morris for a gynecologic problem. Her office was so warm and welcoming. Her staff was courteous and friendly. She spoke to me like a normal person, so that I could understand my medical problem. She was very personable and friendly. I went on to have a surgical procedure with Dr. Morris and her office made the process so easy, obtaining the authorization for me and making sure all my paperwork was done for my time off from work. She made sure I understood the procedure and the expected outcome. She solved my problem in less than a month and I am feeling better than ever. I will see her every year now for annuals. I feel like I have finally found a doctor that I can really talk to.

I've heard this doctor is great for obsetrics and if you're just having a baby, but I did not have a good gynecological experience with her. She diagnosed me with PCOS after some blood work. When she called me back in to talk about it, she basically told me what I had, gave me a couple rather undesirable options for treatment and gave me a handout. She said to call back if I decided what I wanted to do. She didn't really cover anything in the handout (which talks about many follow-up visits and further testing to verify what treatment might work best). I was pretty unsatisfied and discouraged and am now going to see an endicrinological specialist.
