Dr. Lavanya Anjan Cherukuri, MD

I recently found out Dr. Cherukuri relocated when I called to make my annual appointment. I had a choice whether I continue to be her patient at a new location or stay with the same office and see a new practitioner. I opted for the latter. I like consistency but I realized the reservations and grievances I had with Dr. when I was presented with this decision I had to make.

Dr. Cherukuri has tunnel vision when it comes to conditions/diseases that she doesn't know about.If you are unfortunate to have one she is quick to dismiss, judge and place the blame on you.I had been with her for a few years dealing with PCOS to which her response was always "you need go on weight loss pills".However, despite my weight and risk factors she also placed me on birth control pills (and those were the only treatment she ever offered to help the PCOS).I then developed a vulva condition that got so severe it was affecting daily life.I was told that it was a benign issue to which there is no effective treatment.She also stated that it couldn't possibly be producing pain or symptoms I was complaining about.She then implied "I need to wipe more carefully" blaming me for causing the pain/issue.I went to another clinic for second opinion and was diagnosed with VIN (a precancerous condition) and had surgery that completely resolved my issues.

I absolutely love Dr Cherukuri!!! She is such a caring person and easy to talk to.

Dr. Cherukuri delivered my son Kaleb and it was an amazing experience to have such a caring doctor by our side! She even came in on her day off to check on us before we were discharged!

Dr. Cherukuri is amazing!! She was able to diagnose my pain, and performed DaVinci hysterectomy, and even though my bladder was nicked, through no fault of hers, it was how my uterus was too tight and laid weirdly on my bladder, she handled it expertly bringing in an expert for that, and took every care and precaution. I was extremely nervous as it was my first surgery, in fact first stitch, or anything!! She answered even my silliest questions, and made me feel at ease. She even gave her cell phone if we had any issues, because I had such a complications. She goes above and beyond to care for each and every patient like they are her only. I trust her with my life. In fact she cares for my 12 year old daughter who started her puberty early at 9. She is kind, knowledgeable, and an advocate!!

Dr cherukuri delivered my twins via c section nearly 2 years ago. I barely have a scar! She took such amazing care of us, I highly recommend her and Dr. Moreno!!!

I've always had a good care. The Dr is very caring and takes the time to listen to all of your concerns. She's very knowledgeable and explains everything in detail. She performed a surgery that was needed and did an excellent job. She's always informative and compassionate.

Dr. C is amazing!!! Cant say that enough. She delivered my first and was amazing throughout it all!!!!
