Dr. Lawrence Anthony Dunn, MD

Dr. Dunn shook his head no to prescribing medications for my mood after I had been severely sexually assaulted. He instead prescribed high doses of antipsychotics, antidepressants, sleep medicine, adhd medicine for ocd and anxiety medicine. I now live with involuntary movements in my face that limit what I can do while all I needed was therapy and one antidepressant or lamictal. He also crossed professional boundaries with me. As if I did not hurt enough, he rubbed salt in my open wound.

His medical malpractice and negligence with medications has left my wife, who trusted him so well that he was at our wedding, legally blind since her 30th birthday. He told her to suck it up and go ahead and feel all the pain that I feel on top of her pain. She now sees a psychiatrist that specializes in tardive dyskinesia. He still believes my wife feels no depression! He's the only person that thinks that. She would be writing this, but is now unable to.

Dr Dunn is compassionate, patient & does not make me feel belittled or dehumanized like many doctors in the past. He doesn’t sugar coat & can see through it, so bring your honesty & he will help you. Also, he’s been on call for many times when my world was crashing down. I have dealt with anxiety & panic disorder my whole life. This is the first time I’ve felt I’ve made any real progress & can “see through the forest” as they say. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

This Dr. is refreshingly smart. I have been seeing him for 3 yrs or more. Honesty is the best way to communicate with him. In a world of systems that label you. He has no prejudices. After a year of being his patient. I had a comfortavility that I could express my self. It is said that there is nothing stranger than the truth and It is rare to find some one who can read you for whpo you really are. Some times, patients with o.c.d, depression/anxiety are miss-understood. I have been known to be very well spoken but sense my tragity and insecurity I seemm to have a hard tine feeling comfortable knowing Im not just getting sefvice but I do beleive he understands his patients because he wants to. On a Professionbal level he is open, smart and does care.

Dr. Dunn is an excellent Therapist. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is under stress, or need help with other issues. He seems to have compassion for others.

DR. DUNN IS A VERY EFFECTIVE M.D. AS WELL AS VERY EASY TO TALK TOO. USUALLY DOCTORS MAKE ME NERVOUS, BUT DR. DUNN MAKES ME FEEL SECURE AND CONFIDENT IN HIS PRACTICE. I WISH THERE WERE MORE LIKE HIM
