An intelligent, honest, caring, no-nonsense eye dr. A rare gem in FL. As a daughter of elderly parents, I can feel at ease knowing they're getting the care they need, without getting extraneous appointments, tests, procedures, etc done and that they're actually being helped. Only wish there were more like him.

i went to Dr Halperin after another Dr botched a cataract surgery, detaching my retina,and tore my cornea among other damages. DR Halperin repaired my damage and i was able to see again in my right eye after months of healing and other problems . he is highly recommended.

The worst office staff around. Almost an hour wait. They need to learn how to schedule. They said a technician called in sick. That's their problem, not the patient's. They should have called and said come 45 minutes later, but they couldn't care less. He's a good doctor, but he needs to hire better staff and learn how to manage the time.

great experience - great results

I had an ongoing eye inflammation, a condition known as iritis. I had treatments before but Dr. Halperin was the first doctor to raise a concern as to why I'm getting iritis as, apparently, it is a sign of some other hidden health issue. Thanks to Dr. Haplerin, after proper blood work and with assistance of other medical professionals (all referrals of Dr. Halperin and whom, to be honest, I would never think of seeing) I now have a diagnosis, a root cause of my occasional eye inflammations. Dr. Halperin is an incredibly intelligent, knowledgeable and a caring doctor. He always follows up, reaches out to other doctors involved in my treatment, helps me to understand conclusions and next steps. I highly recommend Dr. Haplerin, in my opinion he is a model doctor - his professionalism and care should be a text book for other doctors to strive for. Staff at his practice is very warm, courteous and always polite.

I had a serious retina problem that was threatening to end in severe loss of vision. I went to two other retina specialists, one who got the diagnosis incorrect, and one who performed surgery that didn't work. Dr. Halperin saved me. He was so kind and understanding. He listened, he explained everything. And he performed surgery that fixed my problem and I got my vision back. I am so appreciative of everything Dr. Halperin did for me

65+ here and diabetic. Dr. Halperin is a fine doctor who seems caring and is very well informed and knowledgeable.

Dr. Halperin is a very intelligent and caring Ophthalmologist and he is certainly one of the best in south Florida. Unfortunately because he is so good, it is difficult to get an appointment to see him and his office staff have become aloof. If you can get past that, Dr. Halperin is one of the finest doctors you will ever find.
