When I visit any new doctor, or hospital, the FIRST thing I tell them to do is: On the top of the chart, write "Don't allow Dr. Laurance Hamner to touch me," under ANY circumstances.

One year ago on Tuesday after Memorial Day 2017. I was a last minuet drop in. My catheter procedure reveled severe stenosis of the aortic valve that required immediate replacement. Along with an aneurysm on the aortic riser that required repair. Dr Hamner was the thoracic surgeon that performed these procedures. According to my last minuet smart phone search this surgery would take 4 hours on average. I was in and out of the surgical suit in just over an hour and a half. I believe the quick turnaround contributed to a great and timely recovery. Dr Lawrence Hamner is a confident professional. With skills that give him the ability to perform at the highest level and deliver results that his peers did acknowledge as some of the best work his field. I'm just one of the fortunate heart patients that got the benefit of the competent hands of this professional . Thank you Dr Hamner Tom .C A 56 year old man with my entire life ahead of me.

Best Doctor Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was able to diagnos; and operate on a condition that 7 previous doctors were unable to. He set up follow up treatment and after suffering for 8 months finally got the relief and help needed. Highly recommend.

Excellent credentials and very reassuring presence pre/post op. I have family who are nurses/doctors and the time he spent on actual surgery was very fast. Which is critical if operating on the pump. There were no complications -- no bleeding, no issues with my incisions. I felt I was in good hands.
