1. My wife with me to see Dr. Mazur on 4/9/2026, to evaluate options to treat her Moderately Severe Mitral Valve (MV) Stenosis and LAD (Left Anterior Descending artery) disease, which. included Redo Sternotomy for MVR (Mitral Valve Replacement), CABG for LAD, PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, or coronary angioplasty) for LAD, or minimum invasive procedure, TMVR (Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement). Some options would require multiple staged procedures. 2. We wanted to consider if TMVR and LAD PCI were feasible on 4/30/2026 visit. 3. Patient agreed to undergo Redo Sternotomy for CABG (LIMA to LAD) and Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) on 5/28/2026 visit. During discussion, we were concerned about the Med Mal Infoprolonged use of Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) machine, which could have negatively impact the patient’s lung, kidney, and even brain function after surgery. And Mr. Mazur assured that in his own words “I will be extra careful” on the timing to use the CPB. On the… Elective Surgery Orders, Listed Planned Procedure: CABG/MVR, dated 05/29/26 from Dr. Mazur office to Summerlin Hospital. 4. In the morning of the surgery on 06/23/2026, Dr. Mazur added two more procedures (MAZE procedure and Ligation LAA (Left Atrial Appendage), without patient and her husband consents, and the new mitral prothesis distorted the aortic valve,during the surgery, causing the aortic valve worsening leakage, and the doctor had to replace the aortic valve. These procedures all added to the CPB and Crossclamp times. This is an Ethical issue on the Mr. Mazur part, since he broke the promise and trust between the patient and the doctor. 5. These added procedures and prolonged CPB time directly amplify the risk of severe acute kidney injury and subsequent fatal circulatory collapse of the patient on the morning of 06/25/2026.

So so thankful! Dr. Mazur is a caring, capable surgeon. From start to finish I felt secure and well informed. He explained things clearly and was readily available for my family both before and after my operation. I high recommend him to anyone who needs heart surgery!

We were so lucky to have Dr. Mazur care for our mother when she needed her heart operation. We saw him as part of a second opinion after we didn't like the treatment received with another physician in town. He took the time to go over everything with us and spoke in simple terms to make sure we fully understood what was going to be done and what to expect. Dr. Mazur performed surgery on my Mom who was completely healthy. My mom never recuperated from the surgery performed by Dr. Mazur, and she suffered for 4 months, only to end up dead! GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE HAVING DR. MAZUR PERFORM ANY SURGICAL PROCEDURES ON YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE! Worst surgeon ever!

Dr. Mazur provided wonderful care to my wife who had aneurysm surgery. She was very ill at the time and now is back to her vibrant, loving self. So happy we had his excellent care during such a difficult time. Strongly recommend!

I recently required an Aortic Valve Replacement and Bypass Surgery and received four bypasses and a cow valve. Dr. Mazur provided superior care and kept my wife well informed of my progress. His staff is very informative as well.
