Dr. Lawrence James Lahatte, MD

I took my elderly mother who was have severe diarrhea and constipation issues. He order x-rays etc and gave antibiotics. Recommends she see a gyno after tests results. Dismissed her saying it's not a GI issue. The Gyno she saw recommended she she another Gastro doc. (Not him). It's back to a GI issue because he was not concerned. He did not even mention the issue with her Diarrhea in his report to her primary. I've actually seen him in the past and I wasn't impressed. The only reason I took my mom to him is he was the only one who could see asap. We will just wait next time for some one else. A waste of time with a non caring doctor. Horrible

Unwilling to listen to description of symptoms and unwilling to help find solution to problems. Told me it's not that bad. Sorry, but it's not his decision as to how bad my pain is.

I was experiencing esophageal problems causing difficulty swallowing. I had gone to 2 doctors in Aiken, SC and went through the costly treatments recommended with no relief. Dr. Lahatte was recommended by a retired nurse. I was examined by him and scheduled for a swallow test immediately. He determined that I needed surgery and referred me to Dr. Michael Blaney. The surgery corrected the problem. The problems I was having were corrected. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Lahatte and his entire staff could not have been more kind, attentive or professional. I would recommend them to anyone willingly and strongly. Thank you for making a scary experience a complete breeze!
