Dr Schmetterer did vascular surgery on my husbands right leg. The surgery went well and my husband's leg is improved. He is looking forward to having his left leg done. Both Dr. Schmetterer and his staff always make the time to explain everything and make sure that we understand what to expect.

Dr Schmetterer did a excellent job on the Endovenous Ablation for both my legs. No more heavy feeling in them, feel good even after 12 hour days.

Dr. Schmetterer is an excellent surgeon. He did the surgery to remove the upper lobe from my right lung. Provided exceptional, in hospital & out patient care. Always caring, explained everything sufficiently & answered questions openly. Always made sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend him to all who would be in need of his services.

I was sent to Dr. Schmetterer by my family doctor after having seen 2 other specialists. They all had me thinking the worst about spots on my lungs and wanted Dr. Schmetterer's opinion. Well I have NEVER met a doctor who spent more time asking me questions examining me and then looking at all the CDs from different tests. He showed me all the xrays cat scans Pet scan,and then drew pictures in different color markers on a board. When I left, I felt that I understood my situation and that everything would be ok. Surgery was 2 weeks later and it went great. I had no pain and the scar on the side of my chest is small. I've been told by other doctors that I had the best and I believe it. I will follow up with Dr. Schmetterer for the rest of my life and owe much gratitude.

I went to see Dr. Schmetterer on the advice of my family doctor. I had recently had a CT scan of my lungs. The radiologist and my family doctor wanted Dr. Schmetterer to review that CT scan to determine if the nodules which we had been monitoring since my open heart surgery were increasing in size. Dr. Schmetterer was very thorough, showing us the CT scans on the computer and explaining how the nodules were measured. He was patient and used words I could understand. He spent time with me and showed that he really cared.

My husband was worse after the surgery with him. I had told the doctor of what I had seen and he just said that he did everything he could. His bedside manner is also not good.

best vascular doctor in the area. He fixed my veins with a new procedure RFA and then took out a varicose vein using a very small cosmetic incision. The scar looks like a plastic surgeon did it. I am a nurse who works long shifts on my feet and I have never felt better. Thank you
