Dr. Layne Ted Lovell, MD

This man not only refused to shake my hand but totally could have Cared less anout what i had to say about my health!! What a jerk! Not happy at all. I am in a service business with clients and this man has zero bedside manner! Horrible!!! My clients would be so upset of i treated them this way!

I began to tell this doctor about my son's illness and he said in a very judgmental way, "and you didn't think that was a big enough deal to take him to the emergency room?" I am a nurse. I told him I did not and then explained why. He told me my son had an ear infection. I believe this was so he could order him some antibiotics and get us out of the office. Then I asked him what he thought about the things I had mentioned earlier before he asked the question about the emergency room. He said, "well, you said you didn't think it was a big deal." He never told me what he thought. He was plain rude and treated me like I was neglecting my son and he had no time for us. Do not go to this man if you want to be treated like a human being. I wish I didn't have to give him a star.

My 3 year old took a spill off a chair and cut his forehead open. He was bleeding and screaming loudly. We immediately took him to PromptCare. The staff took the information and we immediately taken back. Dr. Lovell and the nurse came in together. As the nurse cleaned the wound, Dr. Lovell talked to my son about the Spider-Man shirt he had on and before long he was laughing. He let them look at his booboo and all that was needed was it to be glued. He left waving at the staff!

As a new mother I went in extremely nervous. He took a lot of time to examine my child and explain what was going on. He sat there and explained that the symptoms my child had we're from the ear infection he had and prescribed medication to make him more comfortable. He and his staff made this visit as comfortable as possible and I went home feeling like I wasn't a failure as a mother. I read the negative reviews and cannot believe we are talking about the same person!

This Doctor was great to me. Took his time and really explained everything. These reviews are probably written by people who didn't get what they wanted, medications or shots or something.

Saw him on an emergency basis because of abdominal pain. After about a 30 second exam, he stated that he had no idea what my problem was and that I should follow up with another physician. His personality left much to be desired. To rank him on a scale of 1-5, giving him a 1 would be generous. Would not recommend him to anyone.

This is the first doctor i have seen, who is not willing to see the affected area, and still precribe blood test. then i hear nothing wrong, even though i have swelling at pelvic area, and was advised to visit ER

Dr. Lovell was excellent. He showed compassion and really cared about my problem. Highly recommended!

This is the most unkind, uncaring physician I have met. Does not spend time with patient and is very accusatory and presumptuous.
