Dr. Leah Beth Kaltman, MD

Don't expect the annual check up to last more than 2 minutes! Her hand will be on the door handle leaving after 30 minutes of wait!

I needed a new internist as my previous doctor was retiring. I chose Dr. Kaltman for her training and awards as a teacher and mentor. The office staff was prompt and courteous, and she was a bright, open, honest physician (I'm a doctor too, which she didn't know, so my standards are pretty high re: knowledge and engagement). I am relieved to be under her care, as finding someone new to trust can be daunting. Highly recommend. No idea what the issue was with these other reviewers, but I guess everyone can have a bad day.

I recently changed to Dr. Kaltman and have been VERY happy with the change. While Dr. Kaltman works and speaks fairly quickly, I feel that she is a very quick read of the essentials and compassionate as well. She follows-up personally with blood work results. Writes notes on test results that are mailed to you. Called me to follow-up on an elevated test. She seems quite brilliant to me and I am very happy to have her as an internist.

This doctor is very fast in dealing with patient. I could not even talk about all things I wanted. Average appointment is no more than 5 minutes. Is kind but a poor listener and rushes patients. Too fast.

Prescriptions are not written accurately. I was put on hold for long periods of time and then hung up on.
