Dr. Leah A. Owen

Dr. Leah Owen is a board-certified ophthalmologist with dual training in internal medicine, bringing 16 years of comprehensive medical experience to her practice. She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah and completed her residency training at University of Utah Health Care. Her specialized training in both eye care and internal medicine allows her to provide thorough, integrated care for patients with complex medical needs. Dr. Owen is fluent in English and serves patients throughout the Salt Lake City area.

Dr. Owen is affiliated with Riverton Hospital and practices at multiple locations across Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as several facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Crestview Hills, Kentucky. She specializes in treating common vision problems including farsightedness, astigmatism, and eye muscle disorders that cause misalignment. Her surgical expertise includes procedures to correct crossed or misaligned …eyes, and she utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques such as detailed retinal imaging to assess eye health. Additionally, she provides sedation services to ensure patient comfort during procedures.
