Dr. Lealani Rodriguez, MD

Dr. Rodriguez takes the time to explain things, comfort you, and walk you through pregnancy every step of the way. She has been so supportive and helpful throughout my whole pregnancy and I am very grateful to have found her to be my OB.

Dr. Rodriguez saw me in the childbirth center at Griffin Hospital on 11-12-18 for an emergency visit three days after my due date for contractions. Upon arrival I was asked to give a urine sample which I couldnt provide as I was dehydrated. I didn’t find out until 11-15-18 which was the day they induced me that an alleged drug test was performed and came back positive for marijuana. At no time did Dr Rodriguez get consent from me to do this test, there was no reason for me to have a drug test and there was no disclosure of results of this alleged test. This doctor is unprofessional and a complete fraud. How do you drug test a patient without them knowing and withhold results?? The job of an obstetrician is to make sure your baby is safe and properly cared for prenatally. I had DCF called on me and had 6 months of harassment by this agency because I failed to cooperate as I know I did no drugs. My son also tested negative for marijuana which makes me question the validity of this… alleged test. I ultimately won at trial because although they shoved a paper with “results “ in my medical file... there was no documentation of the reason for the test or documentation of any consent or disclosure of results... only a dcf referral. I was traumatized by this and labeled a drug addict until I was proven in trial based on their lack of documentation to NOT be a neglectful parent and the fact my son tested negative says a lot. This doctor did not ensure me or my child’s safety and didn’t even give me a chance to explain any medications or foods I had eaten as I wasn’t aware of any results or testing period. This is malicious. The entire practice associated with this doctor needs to be shut down as they are dishonest and tried to ruin my reputation as a parent . I’m glad I won at trial but the emotional damage is done and I wouldn’t recommend a dog receive medical care from this woman.

Dr. Rodriguez delivered my baby in Bridgeport hospital. Her and her staff were absolutely amazing. I had to have an emergency C-section with my first child because my baby was not responding well to Pitocin. Dr. Rodriguez and staff responded fast and took immediate notice in my babies heart rate drop. I was scared, nervous and not prepared but she rolled me down to the OR at 9:15 and delivered my healthy baby girl at 9:48 without any complications and kept me comfortable the entire time. She kept me very emotionally and physically comfortable/stable and reassured me that everything would be okay. After my surgery she also followed up with me in a timely manner and asked me if I needed anything. I am very pleased with her work and her bedside manner, I highly recommend her for care.

The wait is long but Dr Rodriguez is the best! She makes you feel at ease and is a wonderful help during difficult times

Dr. Rodriguez was reffered to me by my regular GYN whom retired. Dr. Rodriguez is an exceptional devoted OB-GYN she attend me through out my pregnancy which was high risk and breached at 8nmths pregnancy. She was patient very informative and supportive . After this I decided to be her patient as long as I can and she in practice . Thank Dr. Rodriguez for my beautiful baby Boy .

DR RODRIGUEZ MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS IVE HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET. SHE ASSISTED ME DURING LABOR AND MADE IT EASY AND COMFORTABLE. DR RODRIGUEZ IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND OVERALL THE SWEETEST DOCTOR IVE KNOWN.
