Dr. Leann Rae Canty, MD

Dr. Canty has been my primary doctor for over a decade now, and she's excellent. She shares relevant research, is very thorough, listens carefully, has excellent bedside manner, and always follows through. She's the best doctor I've known, very smart, very professional.

I hung in there for a few years (too many), but came to find that her chatty demeanor and self deprecating sense of humor is basically all that's in there. The office runs very average (again despite the "show" of appearance, the substance is lacking). Basically an average HMO doctor at an average HMO type practice - nothing more to expect.

excellent communicator,listens to client,takes time when giving you a physical exam, always returns calls.

Dr Canty has been my primary care physician for 7-8 years at HVMA; I've always been very happy with her.

Dr. Canty is a wonderful doctor, with a good sense of humor and a patient, calming style. Good for a high anxiety patient like me who always comes up with a list of weird symptoms I'm concerned about. I moved out of Cambridge but I'm sticking with Dr. Canty because when you find a good PCP, you don't let them go.
