Dr. Lee Samuel Levin, MD

Weird. Opinionated. Nervous. Is not what he seems - don't waste your time he is a oddball.

Dr. Levin is a well educated and caring physician. On the occassions he is in the office it is easy to get an appointment with him. On multiple occassions I have had to see his PA and the majority of visits, the PA would not refill the precription as the Dr. had prescribed, making another visit to see the Dr. on another day, which could be weeks. The front office staff is nice, but not medically professional. The staff neeeds needs to be educated in medical terminolgy, professional attire and in taking phone messages. On many occassions my chart has gone missing, therefore delaying the time to see the Dr.

Dr. Levin is the very best primary care doctor I have ever had!

Doctor appears personable and compassionate at first, but denies the validity of patient complaints regarding serious conditions (making no attempt to ascertain the facts), and refuses to read blood test results provided. As a result of this willful negligence, he recommends treatment that is contraindicated and dangerous. He doesn't keep up with new advances in certain medications he offers, resulting in his prescribing obsolete and unsafe versions of the meds. His PA is incompetent and very poorly informed regarding HRT. A visit that started out promisingly went downhill very quickly. Very disappointing.

I have been a patient for 8 years and find not only Dr.Levin and his P.A. are top notch. Not a fancy office but the certainly practice good medicine. He was very good with my 90 year old mother who became quite while visiting from the east coast, not his patient but saw her the same day I called. The ladies in the front office could use some customer service training, and work on being a bit more pleasant.

He takes time with his patients, and is a good diagnostician. I like him.

Pleasant guy. But mis-diagnosed me, and told me there was nothing to do for my problems. Another doc started physical therapy, and problem cleared up with therapy. Also, staff didn't respond to calls, wouldn't schedule appt for an emergency, and I ended up 3 days in the hospital for something that could have been handled quickly in the office.

Dr. Levin has started something called "Concierge Care." Now, unless you pay a monthly fee, you will only see a P.A.Very oriented to treatment via vitamins and acupuncture, rather than actual medicine.

Up to date, caring, conscientious manner. Exceptional listening with candor, accurate diagnosis and analysis of laboratory & special testing even with the most complex health problems. Dr. Levin's staff are Helpful, Caring and get things done right--I have been treated with respect and caring---a breath of fresh air in Santa Fe! Thanks.
