File this under lost and found...... I was shocked to find out that I had a 4inch tumor growing on my kidney. I felt fine but routine tests showed otherwise. So I lost my kidney and tumor but I FOUND the absolute best Doctor. I don't know if he'll remember me but I will never forget him..Right under this submission is a box to click to prove I'm not a robot. This doctor recommended an MRI of my prostate. He was told I have an artificial hip before hand. After the results came back he said they were unreadable because of my artificial hip. It has come to my understanding through consulting other doctors that this a widely known fact that MRI"S cannot be used for this reason. This doctor has many years of experience and he was aware of this......very disappointed in this man.

Dr Richstone operated on me using the Davinci robot to remove a cancerous tumor from my left kidney....I lost 20% of my kidney, but the remaining 80% is working perfectly....and I don't have cancer and I've recovered completely. He's the doctor your Urologist will send you to for surgery if your case is challenging - hope you never need a surgeon for Urology....but if you are reading this....you very well may...and I recommend him strongly!

Had we not found Dr. Richstone who removed my husband's kidney six years ago he would not be here. He also diagnosed early stage bladder cancer and took care of that with BGC treatments. Congratulations on his promotion to Lenox Hill Hospital.

I was diagnosed with Kidney cancer and went to a doctor who wanted to break my ribs, do a ten inch cut and remove my whole kidney. He told me it would take about 6 months for me to heal. Needless to say, I was very upset and decided to get a second opinion. Thankfully I did and was referred to Dr. Richstone. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. Dr. Richstone did my surgery lapriscopicly and it was only approx two weeks healing time. He removed part of my kidney, not the complete kidney that the other doctor wanted to remove. He is caring & compassionate I cannot tell you enough what a great doctor he is. I would highly recommend Dr. Richstone!7

I just underwent a laparoscopic surgery of the prostate with Dr. Richstone. He could not have been more caring, professional and competent throughout the entire process. He answered all my questions, concerns, and apprehensions. My results could not have been more successful and gratifying. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

He did my partial nephectomys and my cryoablasion and my uteral stent haven't seen him in 5 years his practice doesn't take my insurance ??

Dr. Richstone did my grandma's laparoscopic left nephrectomy. She is a 82yo female with multiple conditions. Doesn't speak English and is blind. He did a great job. My grandma recovered very well, not is 4 weeks after the surgery and she is back to her normal self and is more happier. As a medical physician I think he is professional, great with patient with great skills and answered all our questions. Strongly recommended for any body who is looking for a good urologist.
