Dr. Lee Martin Tyne, MD

I saw Dr Tyne about 27 years ago. I know that's a long time ago, but I did have a 2nd carpal tunnel release on my R wrist, that had to be redone from another surgeon's "job". Dr Tyne did a good job with that, but then asked if there was anything else bothering me that I'd like to talk about. I told him some things and he said " I never knew of anyone who had as many aches and pains as you do, you need to see a phychiatrist!". I will NEVER forget this. I did see a psychiatrist, but that wasn't my problem. Many years later, I finally had a neurologist who checked out my NECK. I refer uyou to Dr. John Broderick! Never before did any of the other doctors I saw, including Dr. Tyne, ever check out my neck. I was born with a narrowed cervical spine and chiari malformation. ONLY if most doctors would LISTEN and not ASSUME they know it all... Since my cervical spine surgery a few years ago, many problems I was dealing with have been resolved. Dr Tyne...hear my words...it wasn't all in my head,… but very close!!! If you would have only LISTENED and maybe made a referral to a GOOD Neurologist!

I was referred to dc lee m tyne thru a co softball player. I had already had a "botched"knee surgery. That was in the mid 80's. My initial assessment with doc tyne was brief, and he suggested surgery right away. I was hesitant at first but I was 23 and wanted my knee fixed ASAP. The knee is very complex,and with any surgery anywhere is not a 100% fix it. Once you get an incision, you develop scar tissue. That being said..whenever I had trouble with my knee, I always went back to dr tyne. My treatment was simple....surgery. (if I needed it) , pain meds,cortizone shot,therapy, come back if you have problems. I believe dr tyne is the best with sports knee injuries. He is very knowledgeable and listens to you and your concerns. He isn't too aggressive yet he is very receptive to your pain. my treatments have always been personal, thorough, quick, and convenient. He is very accommodating and gives great advise. going to doc tyne's office for orthopedic surgery is like looking… for a good auto mechanic....its a good sign when the lot is full...that means..." this guy is good".
