Dr. Leena Geetha Adhikesavan, MD

After reading the reviews about Dr Adhikesavan, I feel much better. It seems that I am not the only patient who wonders why she bills herself as a rheumatologist? I guess she had to pass the California licensing exam? Or should I say, "I hope." She's about the same age as my "baby sister" and is as arrogant and is likely as wrong. She ignores labs. dsDNA, anti-Sm and ANA antibodies all have been positive, but so what? I've been diagnosed at times with heart failure, kidney disease, restrictive lung disease, Graves' disease, although I was told Hashimoto's might be masquerading as Graves' disease, but she insists that all of those problems were mild. My cousin and sister have died of lupus, and two of my cousins are diagnosed with it, but so what? Rashes occur because I scratch. California's medical malpractice laws have to change. No justice often leads people to take the law into their own hands. Not being able to sue doctors likely violates the 14th Amendment anyway. These… laws allowing doctors to liberally share records (including lies and errors and crimes) does not improve medical care. It allows doctors to racketeer.

This doctor is rude, unprofessional and unapproachable. She rushes through by pushing and yanking in you. She speaks really fast, as though you're wasting her time. She does not examine with compassion. She leaves you in tears and more pain than when you came in. And she won't take the time to hear your concerns. I feel that I am misdiagnosed" , as there were no labs ordered. Just yanking and pulling. She's a horrible person and worst as a doctor.

I don't get it I saw the bad reviews and I must say that was not my experience with this doctor. She has always been very patient, thorough and not rushed with me. What impressed me most, was before she came in she had pulled all my records from my previous health plan and reviewed them. She already knew all must previous ailments, injuries, and treatments. She immediately prescribed Humira when another doctor on my current health plan had refused too, even though I was suffering.

She lacked compassion for my situation and ignored a plea for time off work while I was going through medical trauma. I was able to secure a note from another MD. I will probably be changing doctors.

Very disappointed with her bedside mannerisms. Rushed through my questions and flat out told me that another highly related illness was not her concern to treat. Even though she was the MD that gave me the diagnosis. She referred me back to PCP. Lastly when I asked for the specific results for the range of positive and negative values to assess borderline diagnosis, she declined to give them stating that it wasn't relevant for me know.
