Dr. Leia Keisha Ince-Mercer, MD

Let me say two things - #1 - Dr. Ince-Mercer is a GREAT doctor. She is very accommodating, and I thoroughly enjoyed my 6 years as her patient. So this review has nothing to do with her abilities as a doctor. If you have her as a doctor, you are in great hands. #2 - I am very disappointed by the practice dismissing me as a patient due to two cancelled appointments, one of which was due to the fact that I had COVID and was physically unable to come in for my annual physical, and a no-show (due to me simply forgetting the appointment. I’m sorry. I’m human). Even though during the course of the year, I was in for other appointments for other medical issues. I called in due to a medical issue I was having and was told I’m no longer a patient with the firm. I wrote a message within the portal regarding this, and received a call a few days later to discuss the situation. I was simply told there was nothing that could be done and that they dismissed me as a patient. I received ZERO… notification by mail, email, phone, of this happening, and they would provide no exception to the case, even though I have been a patient for many years, with otherwise zero appointment attendance issues. Again, the issue does not fall in Dr. Ince-Mercer as a doctor, the issue falls on the practice’s unrealistic policy on throwing a patient to the wind due to cancelling a few appointments, especially due to the fact I had COVID and was told I couldn’t come in anyway. Disappointed isn’t even the word for it.

She is an excellent GP. I think she is awesome. I have been seeing her for years.

the DR. actually listened to me she made visual contact while I was speaking . DR. Mercer asked questions that were important to my situation .

MY APPOINTMENT WITH DR. LEIA WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. SHE LISTENED TO EVERYTHING I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT WITH MY HEALTH. SHE IS A YOUNG DOCTOR AND HAS HAD VARIOUS EXPERIENCE IN HER SPECIALTY.
