Dr. Leila Tucker Hall, MD

Wait time is too long for most of our visits there to see Dr Hall. When we arrived at the office at the appointment time, we were promptly taken to the exame room and the nurse came in for a quick check up. However, they kept us waiting for 30 minutes until the doctor shows up. She didn't spend a lot of time with my child and she seemed to be in a rush. Her schedule gets filled up quickly. So if you don't have an appointment with her months ahead, it's very likely that you will end up seeing the nurse practitioners in her office.

Dr. Hall was so caring and an intelligent diagnostician last week when our son came into her office with pneumonia. I've never encountered a pediatrician who would text with me in the middle of the night to comfort me and then call me the next morning to ask how her patient is doing! She is a very dedicated and empathetic pediatrician who takes time with her patient. The same is said about the nurse practitioners. The nurse and office staff are really wonderful, too.

We love Dr Hall. She is excellent. Both our kids see her. I wish all the doctors would be as good as her.

I've been going there for 1 year with my 15 year old and I've never even met Dr. Hall it's always her mom. The're very nice but I'm shocked after reading that her mom is not even a registered nurse!!! Thank God I have a healthy boy, but what if he gets sick? I'll need to do more research.

First/foremost, Dr. Hall makes herself very available to our daughter's needs. Thus, we have a dilemma, because her mom ("MOM") operates her phones, etc. (for context, my father is a surgeon, and I used to operate his office's phones, etc). On the first visit, MOM offended my wife with an unsolicited comment about Hispanic culture. On my first visit, I told MOM my wife MIGHT join us later; MOM decided--without telling me--that my daughter and I would wait in a room for at least an hour, until I spoke up that I was the parent for that appointment. I felt disrespected. MOM does not listen. Today, after a visit, I called about a parking issue; MOM again didn't stop talking to listen to my issue. Instead, she condescendingly said "80 cents an hour is not THAT big a deal" (which was not the issue!). MOM went on talking and, without letting me get a word in, MOM hung up on me! I called back and MOM refused to give Dr. Hall a message to call me back! Like us, you may have to decide… if MOM is worth Dr. Hall's great service.

I can't say enough good things about her. She is our fourth pediatrician (we have moved a bit) and we moved to her after we had some unhappy experiences with another local doctor and asked the ER staff at Suburban if they had any recommendations. The staff at Suburban highly recommended her. She is extremely responsive, clearly very very intelligent and knowledgeable, and takes precautions I have not seen before, such as reading the vaccine label to you (back in NY, my neighbor had an experience where the doctor administered the wrong vaccine so this is really a smart thing to do). She is easy to reach on off hours and always patient. Her office staff (her mom) is equally courteous. We have also used her nurse practitioner for routine things (checkup and one time my two year old son had a finger infection) who was great too. Her office is now closer to the metro so I am afraid she will get too popular!

We had our first born last september, and had seen 3 other pediatricians before Ms. Hall. My husband is very protective and criticizes everything. With Leila Hall, he has nothing but praises for her. You first are greeted by Ms. Hall's mom who works the reception desk. She has a way with babies, because our son was all smiles with her. Ms. Hall takes the time to explain everything she does, is doing, thinks of doing, and even asks how work is. Office is very organized, gives you charts on the progress of your childs growth, from last visit to national average. Appointments are always less than 5 minutes wait from entering office. She's a pediatrician who can be called or emailed with a concern, and will feel like someone who cares responds. Truly a blessing to find her, i recommend her to all my friends!

I recently had my first baby and Dr. Hall was such a blessing for me and my baby. She visited us in our home to check the baby within the first few weeks of birth and she promptly followed up to make sure the baby was doing good. She utilizes technology such as e-prescribing and electronic health records, making our visits to the doctor very easy. She is patient-oriented and very personable. She is great and I would highly recommend her.

I have four children ranging in age from 1 year to 16, I have seen more pediatricians than I care to remember. I would recommend Dr. Hall to anyone that will listen, she has always been top of the line with my children and has always handled any questions I had wactfully and honestly. I LOVE HER...

Dr. Leila Hall promptly called me back. She asked all the right questions about my child's head injury and then was quick to assist with the problem. This is not hte first time Leila was helpful to our family and we would bring all our kids there if they were still young. Thanks Dr. Hall!!!
