Dr. Lennard Steven Wilson, MD

Dr Wilson has long had a reputation for, and many legal troubles with properly diagnosing and Treating children. His history of practice in the late 80’s and 90’s is packed tight with over perscribing, testing ( without concent ) experimental drugs on toddlers and infants. Some as young as 2 years old. He finds vulnerable desperate parents willing to try anything and victimizes families with medications such as, Ridellan, nortriptyline, trazodone and imipramine. All at once all prescribed to the same child. These children grew to be rejected by families and dumped into foster homes and respite care centers. Some have been institutionalized and others have developed such intense mental illness that many of them have become addicts or commit suicide. Dr. Wilson is very arrogant and believes that the law will not find him and that he will not be held accountable for this. So he continues to abuse children and families for personal gain. Consider this a warning from a former patient who… has spent their entire life, from the age of 5, trying to undo the cognitive, emotional, biological, NEROLOGICAL and parent/child-relationship damage that this man did with his experimental pills, lack of expertise and abuse of powers. I will have to do it for the rest of my life until I die. DONT see him!!

Egotistical, doesn't listen at all.

Dr. Wilson has extremely poor people skills, questions patients with leading questions in an accusatory tone and is no where near gentle during examination.

Ditto everything everyone else has said - plains of Africa, etc etc. put up with him for almost 5 yrs, I have a thick skin (I'm a lawyer) and for some reason I thought he was one of the top neurologists in Missoula. However. He then said something that was beyond the bounds of comprehension, not to mention ethics. Right before I gave birth to my daughter I made the decision to taper myself off of Lamictal because I knew it was not approved for breast-feeding. (However I had stayed on it while I was pregnant, because he said it was safe for pregnancy.) About a year and a half later when I felt I needed to get back on it I went back in to ask him to renew my prescription. He lectured me about going off of it, which, okay fine whatever I get it. But I told him I didn't feel comfortable taking it while breast-feeding, and also told him I was kind of wondering why he had kept me on it during pregnancy because I had since read that it was not approved for pregnancy. His response was, and I… pretty much quote, "Well given your family history and your husband's family history, what are the chances your daughter isn't going to be dealing with this too, anyway?" In other words, don't worry about the drug's safety classification for pregnancy and breast feeding, because your daughter might as well be getting lamictal in the womb. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried. Oh and he has never met my husband - But apparently he doesn't need to meet him to diagnose him with hyperactive African brain syndrome. The last straw was this week when his office refused to respond to three requests from my pharmacy to refill my prescription, which is for temporal lobe epilepsy. His assistant then informed me that they were not going to refill it until I came into see Dr. Wilson because it had been over a year. However he would not be back in the office for two weeks and apparently it was fine if I had a seizure in the meantime. Incredibly, This was after I had just called his office that morning and told them I was having increased symptoms and wanted to get in to see him right away. His response was to refuse to refill my prescription at all, until he was back in the office in 2 weeks. Lamictal is NOT a drug you can stop cold, basically he was willing to put me through 2 weeks of misery and maybe a grand mal. Done, done, and done.

went to him years ago for chronic migraines- he told me after a 3.5 minute visit that I was a drug abuser and just wanted more from him- that he would not be my "supplier". I had heard there was a new drug called Imitrex and would like to try it. Now we know that it works VERY well- but I had to go see someone else to help the headaches. This man made me feel like a complete loser... if there was a "ZERO" star- I'd use that one

Treats me like He knows everything about me before he listens to my concerns. He seems like a drug salesman that treats me like a wimp if I have side affects.
