Dr. Leon Kavaler, MD

Dr Kavaler is a very careful listener who correctly diagnosed my stomach bleeding. He advised me to have an endoscopy and scheduled it for 2 days later. I never considered having this procedure and was pleasantly surprised that this procedure was exactly was I needed. I was really impressed by his careful listening to my symptoms and asked me questions that led to a diagnosis. I have great confidence in Dr Kavaler.

Dr. Kavaler was patient and explained everything well, was happy to answer questions, and communicated confidence. The nursing and anesthesia staff were first rate. Everything was handled efficiently and with great human warmth, which made the whole experience as close to enjoyable as a colonoscopy can be.

I am so fortunate that Dr. Kavaler is my gastroenterologist. He checks all the boxes. His office is highly efficient and everyone is lovely to deal with.

Leon Kavaler is an outstanding professional but more than that, he is kind, courteous and helpful. He is always willing to go out of his way for a patient. After a 30 year relationship with another GI physician, I was fortunate to be introduced to Leon Kavaler. He is the best of the best. If you have any GI issues, run, don't walk, to see him. You will not be disappointed. And if you need a procedure, his wife is a leading anesthesiologist. Try and see both together.

Dr. Kavaler listened, asked many questions, and followed up with me within 24 hours of my procedure. He also made himself available for a post-procedure appointment, if I wished. In addition, the entire staff were organized, efficient, and very friendly.
