I do not feel safe at all in their care. I am now terrified of this particular doctor. I am a Union Trained, Journeyman Carpenter by trade. Several years ago i smashed my index finger with a staple hammer(crushed the bones in the tip). I am a self pay. I have no insurance. I withstood the pain of my broken finger for over 3 years before i felt i was ready to try surgery i paid Dr Andreas to remove the broken bones i had a severe infection around the bones caused buy the broken bones ,breaking down and constantly moving . He agreed it would never heal without he bones removed. we talked several times about the surgery, the prosess and what would be done. i saved up the money and borrowed some to have the surgery done. On the day of the schedualed surgery i was 4 hours late at being brought back at whitch time we talked and it seemed to me he haddent even reread my chart because he seemed to me like he had totaly forgoten what we were doing that day. I had to remind him,… Osteoctomy( bone removal). He acted like he had never seen me before. I was terrified.. i woke up from the surgery 30 minutes later. I was so upset because i found out he didnt eaven take out the bones that i paid to have removed. he only cleaned out the infection that was caused by the bones. At the follow up apointment i was in tears,and in i feel unnessary pain conceidering what i paid for haddent been acheaved. he was filpent with me saying" not to hit or bump my finger any more, almost laughing at me. He said if later after i healed, i still wasnt happy he would amputate my finger for free, as long as i pay the hospital part. i have him on tape, me in tears and him being condasending, accusing me of WANTING my finger amputated, redicules! now my finger is almost healed from the surgery (5 mo). i still have pain every time i eaven tap it on anything. Infection comes out from under the nail when i press down on anything. and im terrified to go back to the doctor. Im still paying back the money i borrowed to have this surgery. Im so disapointed in this Doctor and want people to be warned.
