Dr. Lesa Brookes, MD

This clinic has the very bad front desk person. There was one receptionist that is extremely rude and disrespectful. And the chairs are uncomfortable and hard. My daughter and I were kicked out of the clinic because of religious reasons. My daughter does not have her last immunization shots. Mind you she's in high school in the state of Nevada. It is legal to refuse immunization shots here. Yet doctors can kick you and your children out of the clinic if you refuse them. This law needs to be changed. There were several appointments canceled on my daughter. When we cancelled a few appointments we were told that we were being kicked out of the clinic for excessive canceling but in actuality the doctor told us we couldn't come back if my daughter didn't get her shots. So this doctor is a liar, and forcing my family to get my child immunization shots against our religion. Some things are not a doctor's business. Her job is to care for my daughter not interfere with our religious practices.… My daughter is very healthy, and never gets sick. We are holistic people and use holistic herbs and plants to boost our immune systems. If the school district has families sign papers stating, for religious reasons, you are exempt from immunization shots. The medical institution should not be allowed to kick a child from care. It is the most blatant form of disrespect. When we cancelled our last appointment because my daughter didn't want the shots. The front desk said they never received a phone call, or has any no records of my calls. That was an lie, and an excuse to get my daughter kicked out of the clinic. The excuse they gave was excessive cancellations. When the ORIGINAL complaint was they didn't want my daughter to come back to the clinic without getting her immunization shots. My daughter first had agreed to get the shots, and she later on changed her mind. So I canceled the appointment for the immunization shots. She is old enough now to speak up for herself. What is not going to happen is me going to a place where a doctor is interfering with how I run my family and how we live. Is it not the business of a doctor to interfere with such family matters. There are people who refuse the covid shot. There are people who refuse the flu shot. There are people who refuse shots in this world. Immunization shots should not be ostracized. Yet these other shots people are not getting kicked out of the clinics? I don't think so. My sister-in-law homeschools her children they are nine and six. Healthy children. Never had one immunization shot in their lives. Immunization shots are under scrutiny because doctors like the doctor at Westside pediatrics are brainwashed by the medical system. They put all their faith behind a drug and a needle. We all see how that's going with covid. My family and I will go to a place where we are welcomed warmly and not judged.

Not recommend, now I’m all for do what you want and everyone has different thoughts on matters, but to be kicked out because of a mask and because I think differently form you, and last I checked the mask mandatory was no longer in affect, and yes I understand that some people either patients or works might still wear one and that all good I’m not judging but for you to try to force something that isn’t mandatory or even a law, I believe it’s called discrimination, like me saying you can only come in if you have black hair, if you that afraid of it stay home and lock yourself in a box but don't try to force others and then when they disagree with your beliefs you kick me and my kids out, so be aware of this doc if you believe differently they’ll kick you out.

Doctor lesa Brookes is utterly amazing she has to be the best pediatrician in all of Las Vegas no the world she's compassionate she's caring and she follows up with lab work and follows up with the patient after taking care of them,this doctor is so good she don't make house calls but you wouldn't know that that's just how good she is my son Christopher Adell has had a crush on her since he was about 4 years old he is now 8

DR. Brookes is an Excellent Pediatrician. She as been caring for my son Michael Angelo since he was 12 weeks old. I was so well informed during every visit. We were able to save my son's hearing when he was diagnosed with multiple ear infections causing him multiple high fevers, she got him an immediate referral to an excellent ENT specialist and to an excellent lung specialist to confirm his bronchial conditions . Dr. Lesa Brookes was right on target. Today, thanks to all her expertise my son is a very healthy 3 year old with excellent hearing after the ear tubes were removed at 18 months. His asthma is kept under control , and I was told he will be able to outgrow the asthma . I continue to visit the doctor for all his well checks. Sometimes during the allergy seasons my son will need an appointment due to bronchiolitis caused by the allergies. I am able to get a same day appt. I am able get him checked, and get preventative meds prescribed as needed, to keep… him comfortable and healthy . We want to Thank Dr. Brooks for being caring and always pleasant during each and every visit. Her experience and knowledge was a blessing.

Very caring and attentive. Really spent time with me and listen to my concerns. Dr. Brookes is an excellent doctor and you cannot go wrong with her!

Dr. Lesa Brookes at Healthy Kids Pediatrics is the most caring and knowledgeable pediatrician. SHE IS THE BEST!!! She takes time to answer all your questions clearly and makes sure you understand everything. This is important to new parents like me. I had so many questions and concerns about my newborn, such as about vaccines. Dr. Brookes made me feel more comfortable being a new parent. She is the pediatrician you want to bring your child to see for many many years, even when they are all grown up. I trust Dr. Brookes completely. She is truly a blessing to our family.

Dr Brooks is an exceptional doctor!! She cares about her patients and the family of her patients as if we were a part of her family. We were not treated as another number. I have been to several pediatricians in the past few years and have never been treated with sincere kindness as we have received from Dr. Brooks. It is a hard to find quality in doctors these days! As long as my kids can be seen by a pediatrician I will be taking them to Dr. Brooks. She's a keeper. She really went the extra mile for our family as well. Thanks a million Dr. Brooks!!!

Excellent, caring, compassionate doctor who truly cares about her patients. I am a medical provider myself and doctor Brookes has treated my own family members. Always with great care as well as excellent medical practice. We need more doctor's like Dr. Brookes, especially in this town of Las Vegas. Dr. Brookes and the staff at Positively Kids are always very helpful.

My overall experience with Dr. Lesa Brookes was nothing more than astonishing!! I have 5 children, and the level of care and knowledge she provided for them is beyond words. Not only knowledgeable, but very attentive to ones needs. Dr. Brookes cares about the whole family, which is extremely rare in society considering most doctors barely listen to the "PARENTS" concerns. Didn't have that problem with Dr. Brookes!! I was very comforted by her level of expertise; if there were health issues that she wasn't sure about, I can assure you I was directed to the right specialist. All thumbs up to Dr. Lesa Brookes, the best pediatrician by far I have seen in this country!! Great job, keep up the good work!!!
