Dr. Lesley Smallwood Walsh, MD

Recently I was a patient of Dr. Walsh thru a referral.From the initial consult thru having my procedure (intracept)done at Clearwater pain clinic in Pensacola fl. I was very impressed with Dr. Walsh and her team. I come from a family in medicine and have been a patient many times so I feel like I recognize superior intelligence when I see it.I felt like Dr Walsh was very confident in the treatment she suggested and went well out her way to make sure I understood and was comfortable going ahead.I felt like she had a knack of talking to patients at their level, not over their head but at same time LISTENING and communicating. So many times you see a doctor they do all the talking and patient never really gets a chance to tell what’s wrong.Dr Walsh has a great personality and was nice being around during my treatment. The entire staff at Clear way were way above my expectations from scheduling to discharge every single person was nice AND professional.I strongly recommend you give them… an opportunity if they can help you

I was a patient of Dr Walsh until she moved away which was well over 5 years. Dr Walsh in my opinion was a great doctor but overall she was a kind, considerate and very caring. She always took her time when she came in the room, let me voice all my concerns & complaints. Always tried to help me lessen the pain I was dealing with which is chronic an a lot. I was very sad to hear she was moving away. I’m still trying to adjust to the new pain management dr I have now. I Would go back to her in a second.

I have been seeing Dr. Walsh for more than three years now. I find her to be extremely pleasant, friendly, excellent in her expertise as a doctor. She has performed two surgeries on me and several procedures to help me with my neuropathy pain. I always feel welcome in her office. I enjoy seeing Dr. Walsh because she is always ready to hear everything I need to say and offers me wonderful ways to help me with my pain.

Dr. Walsh is a quack! She cares nothing about her patients condition and is a tarnish on the reputation of Ocshner as a whole.

Waited 8 weeks for initial appt. Told nerve block was needed, THAT appt. to take another month! In the meantime, I am in excruciating pain. You call and call and portal and portal. They keep saying, "the clinic supervisor will call you" and/or "waiting for answer from Dr. Walsh". All the while you're BEGGING for pain meds and you never get any. When you finally are contacted, you're told,"we have 48 hours to contact you" and "pain meds will not help your condition". I the nerve block is a diagnostic tool and you haven't HAD the nerve block yet, why not give the pt. some pain meds to TRY, no, it's better to let the pt. suffer excruciating pain causing them to scream all night and day in agony! This person obviously cares NOTHING for the torture patients are enduring, she should find another line of work, one that doesn't require a shred of empathy.

My wife has had multiple neck and back surgerys since 1998 to 2018 we just left her office and she lied straight to us. She didn't want to help with her immediate pain relief. I would never refer her to anyone for the reason of straight up lying to us.

Dr. Walsh spent time going through all my medical records I brought her. She is the first doctor I've seen that is compassionate and caring about my condition. I've been suffering with fibromyalgia for a while and so appreciate that she has offered me some treatment that will help me. I highly recommend her.

Not empathetic or caring ,there is a definite disconnect between patient. Did not listen to my concerns and physically man handled me. If you need a procedure done, go to someone else.
