She diagnosed a melanoma that I would never have guessed was present and an issue during a routine visit.

Dr Bernstein is a perfectionist in her work with attention to every detail which is especially crucial when having anything from a cosmetic procedure to surgery done! Her expertise is greatly appreciated !

My son was home from college for his break and showed me a bump on his back which had been itching him. Knowing he would be returning to school in less than a week Dr. Bernstein squeezed-him into her booked schedule so she could biopsy the bump before he left. Dr. Bernstein was amazing and put my son at ease with her professional yet friendly demeanor . She removed a 5 mm bump from his back and he didn’t feel a thing. The entire experience was very positive and allowed us to have peace of mind moving forward. Much appreciated.

I went in thinking the appt would go great based on other reviews and I was shocked at how horribly it actually went. The doctor greeted me with gloves and a disposble clothing protector, which would have been fine if she was about to do a procedure on me. But meeting her like that made me feel dirty and less than. I went in for a full body analysis to check for skin cancer (my mom had skin cancer and 2 of my sisters had precancerous moles that had to be removed so I was very serious about this scan being done) and the process in which she did it made me feel very uncomfortable. She also didn't take a close look at my skin anywhere (just a general scan from FEET away) and didn't check my scalp. The other reason I went in was to address acne issues. After mentioning my acne, she went ahead and prescribed a strong rx (retinol and benzoyl peroxide combo) without going over my current skin care routine and my diet and other life style choices. The appt was over very quickly as well, which… made me feel unimportant or uncared for. Her bedside manners were lacking considerably as well. I don't know why this happened to me because it seemed like the average review is good. Won't be coming back.

Dr Bernstein was able to diagnose a rare disease I had and lead me through the proper treatments to put it into remission. Excellent care.

Have seen Dr. Leslie Bernstein a couple of times recently for removal of cysts on my forehead and a large one on my arm. Dr. Leslie is by far the best dermotalogist I have ever had contact with. Very personable, explains every detail that she performs and is totally concerned with your issues. Should you need a dermatologist Dr. Bernstein is the one you need to see. Totally recommend her highly !

Dr. Bernstein got me in on short notice. Appointments were quick and easy to schedule. She took a personal urgency in diagnosing Lymes and got me on treatments immediately. Personally called me for follow up to insure treatments had begun and went out of her way to insure that I had the proper follow ups with in an infectious disease specialist the next day. Gave immediate and detailed access to medical records and had an readily available staff that was eager to get tasks followed up on. I really have to say the follow up was key and the efficiency and quick turn around on the appointment. I can't say enough for her help in getting me the quick and thorough diagnosis I needed.

Dr Bernstein is a physician who makes you feel as though you are in good hands - and you are she was thorough in her examinations and interested in my situation. She explains the different issues and makes you comfortable with what is going on. I highly recommend her.
