Leslie Botnick, M.D., is a radiation oncologist at City of Hope Sherman Oaks, an Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Radiation Oncology and Senior Medical Director, Radiation Community. He has clinical expertise in radiation for breast cancer, prostate, pancreatic, rectal and Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. In practice for some 40 years, he has made a difference in countless lives. He helped bring about the significant advance of treating many breast cancer patients with lumpectomy plus radiation. Dr. Botnick is also recognized as a leader in stem cell research and late effects of chemotherapy on bone marrow. Consistently rated one of the "Best Doctors in America," Dr. Botnick's greatest achievement may well be his ability to connect with his patients and communicate vital information in understandable terms.

I came to Dr. Botnick as a frightened 29-year-old woman with breast cancer. He treated me with compassion, care, and honesty. He saw me as a human not just a patient and helped me understand my radiation treatment. He also referred me to additional treatment for my body and mind. He mentored me to be a partner in my own healthcare and is my trusted advisor on all cancer issues. Dr. Botnick regards everyone with equal care and concern. He inspires his entire staff to value each individual that walks through the office's door.

Dr. Botnick is the most knowledgeable, caring and dedicated doctor I know. I trust him implicitly in his area of expertise and in his referrals to other specialties. His office staff is caring, competent and efficient, working hard to make sure the patients get the care they need.

He is absolutely the best in his field. Knowledgeable, comforting, informative, and always available to me and my family. I have recommended him numerous times and everyone that I recommended has raved about how wonderful he is to them and his kind and courteous staff.

I was recommended to Dr. Botnick by 2 outstanding Oncologist. In my first meeting with him I knew right away he was great! He put me at ease and helped me make some decisions about my treatment for breast cancer. He is always kind and caring. He has taken such wonderful care of me for the last 6 years and I feel so lucky to have found him.
