Dr. Leslie Townsend Cottrell, MD

Dr. Cottrell while on duty at the Carrollton Tanner Urgent Care refused to see, look at, or help my son who got a fish hook in the end of his 5th digit. They said it was due to a lack of tools...I took him away got cutting pliers and removed the barb from the hook and again asked for service from Dr. Cottrell. She refused again due to the lack of tools/expertise. I took my son to Summit Urgent care. They saw him within 5 minutes, gave him a numbing shot on both sides of his finger and 30 seconds later my 9 year old son removed the hook himself from not feeling pain any longer. Then the excellent Staff at Summit disinfected the dual entry small wound and wrapped it up. They prescribed antibiotics for a week. If Tanner doesn't have numbing shots and bandages they have more problems than a doctor refusing service to a child! SIGNED: VERY DISAPPOINTED MOTHER!

She is a very uncaring, unsympathetic, condescending, argumentative, physician I have ever met!! We have seen her twice at Tanner Urgent Care in Carrollton GA and both times she has been extremely rude. I cannot believe Tanner has her on staff.
