Leslie Jones, MD

Dr.Jones examined my eye; told me I had a macula hole and called a retina specialist who came right over to see me. She had explained that she does surgery in front of the eye and he does surgery in back of the eye. After the macula hole surgery was a success, I later developed a cataract in the affected eye as I had been told may happen... and Dr. Jones performed cataract surgery. This surgery was a success. Six to twelve months later Dr. Jones performed lazer treatment because scarring resulted in decreased light getting through the lens. Now my vision is almost perfect and Dr. Jones' cutting edge knowledge and skill is the reason why.

Excellent Doctor and service

Dr. Jones is very special to me. I met her at the National Institute of Health. My husband was the patient at that time and NIH had no Glaucoma Specialist to treat my husband's problem. When she was hired she immediately told my husband that he needed glaucoma surgery right away. She performed a perfect operation on his eye. I say this because other doctor look at the surgery and complimented that it was perfect( NIH could not resolve my husband's problem). Approximately three weeks ago I had to have cataract surgery and Doctor Jones performed the surgery and to date my eye is progressing nicely. This surgery has helped my vision immensely. I have a retinol problem and I could not read anything with this eye. Now I am seeing much better and I will always recommend Dr. Jones because she has done wonders for me and my husband. Also, she had made me feel like I am her only patient. She is very, very efficient, no nonsense, but very delightful to be around. She is very… professional, and very caring about the treatment given to her patients. I am 75yrs in age and she treats me with much kindness. She is a jewel to your organization. I would/will recommend her very, very highly to anyone who needs her help. By the way, I come from Baltimore, MD to be treated by Dr. Leslie Jones. God bless her and my appreciation is unending.

Dr. Leslie S. Jones is an excellent ophthalmologist and surgeon. She prepares her patients with oral and written instruction, and realizes the difference of patients and their needs and level of care. She gets family members involved, at times, if necessary. We need more competent and knowledgeable doctors like her.

Dr. Jones treats her patients in a very caring manner. She takes the time necessary to find out how you - as a person - are doing and I love that about her. She does not practice Jiffy Lube ophthalmology! I would hate to feel as though she's rushing me during my appoitment time--and she doesn't do that! She does tests to be sure that her diagnosis is accurate and I have NEVER had a problem with her whatsoever. I would definitely recommend her highly to family/friends alike.

Dr. Jones and her staff have always been very professional, while showing that they care as well. My 91-years-young Mom demanded that I see Dr. Jones (her eye doctor) once an optometrist told me that I might have a cataract in my left eye. I was given a battery of tests and the diagnosis was rendered. I was very encouraged after my visit with Dr. Jones. Not only is she an extremely knowledgeable ophthalmologist, but she takes great strides to explain every detail of what the test(s) will entail, how long it will take, and the outcome. She is truly the BEST!!

My mom has been seeing an ophtalmologist for about 10years who has done an excellent job of managing her advanced glaucoma and cataracts. She has had to leave his practice and we were apprehensive that we may not find somebody as good as him. We are grateful to find somebody as good as the previous doctor in Dr Jones. The diagnosis and the course of care explained to my mom is in sync with what we have known from past years. Dr Jones exhibits knowledge that gives us confidence in her ability.
