Leslie A. Lyness, DO

Leslie is a horrible impersonation of a human being. I will never address her as anything other then her given name because she deserves exactly the same lack of respect she showed us. I have spent the last several days talking to real health professionals about how horrible we were treated by this thing pretending to be a doctor. She hated us from the moment I tried to get my husband seen faster, yes hated us and had no problem showing her distaste for us. Why ?? I have no idea why she acted so unprofessional. I wanted my husband seen sooner because he had just been placed in a nursing home for the severe pain he is experiencing from diagnosed spinal stenosis and 3 bulging discs. If Leslie was a true doctor she would have taken the time to get to know who her new patient is, but instead she made fun of my husband laying on a stretcher. You can't be in that much pain is what she said to my husband. If she took a few minutes and asked a few questions she would know he drove a truck for… 30 years, never took a day off or took a single vacation. Or maybe take a few minutes to find out that his pain was so bad we were forced to put him in a skilled nursing facility to manage pain, diet and physical therapy. The one time she did ask him to describe the onset of the pain, he mentioned he was walking in Walmart and she shut him right down, I don't need to hear about Wal-Mart! I could not believe how she was acting! And when I tried to explain she shut me right down too. Would not let either of us answer. My husband has been suffering since a fall from the flu last Spring, the pain has been getting worse so we went to the emergency room in August and a cat scan was done showing the spinal stenosis. The emergency room doctor was very compassionate explaining that the damage to Wayne's back shows he was a hard working man. An MRI was done at a later date showing 3 bulging discs along with the spinal stenosis. Our local neurologist Dr Stanley Tuhrim stated he believed Wayne would benefit from surgery to relieve pressure on sciatic nerve, pain that has been getting increasingly worse as time has gone by. When we mentioned what Dr Tuhrim said to Leslie, she told us she doesn't have time for doctors that aren't surgeons. I will be passing that information to Dr Tuhrim when I go to his office tomorrow. Leslie did tell us that if she did perform surgery on Wayne that the spine would have to be fused and there would be rods, plates and screws which would cause you (Wayne) chronic pain for the rest of his life. Wow Leslie what a way to encourage your patients!!! (Leslie is only concerned with BMI and A1C.) Especially when you don't even know who Wayne is! This is all before a poor neurological examination was even done. If she had taken the time to ask she would know how depressed my husband has become because he can't get up and do anything. If she took the time to ask she would understand more of who we are as people not just patients. Leslie judged us because we tried to been seen sooner. Leslie believes that we are just drug seekers perhaps??!! I don't have any clue as to why Leslie decided we deserved her wrath. Well Leslie I wouldn't let you touch my husband, ever. You disgust me. You had absolutely no right judging us or anyone else, even if they are seeking pills!! How dare you! You should at the very least be absolutely ashamed of yourself for how you treated us. You embarrassed yourself in front of us and the 2 medical professionals we brought with us, which I am so glad that we have their eye witness accounts of what a horrible person you really are as well. They could not believe your words or your actions and they passed the information to skilled nursing as well. I'm going to personally make sure I let as many people as I can know what a horrible excuse for a doctor you really are. You also embarrassed yourself in front of the office staff that has to put up with your God complex. You are not God Leslie!!!! You have no rig

Talkative, felt I couldn't interject questions, not detailed enough for me to make decision for surgery.

Dr. Lyness is a professional and took care of my ailments as if they were her own and I am forever in her Debt!

This woman should not even be able to call herself a doctor. Not knowledgeable nor does she take a broken neck with nerve damage seriously. Burn incense and try yoga. She is not a doctor.

I went to here thinking she could help me with my problem that she is supposed to be knowledgable about and she blew me off lol

Beware of a doctor who will jump to do surgery on you even after you told her not to. A simple procedure turned very bad for me because of her ego.

Dr. Lyness did a surgery without my consent! When I told her something was wrong she said what do you want me to do. I had to have another surgeon redo the botched surgery she did.
