Dr. Leslie K Macdonald, MD

I've been with Dr. MacDonald for 8+ years, and she is an extraordinary doctor. She's thoughtful, kind and listens very attentively. She has often connected dots among symptoms I didn't know were related and helped solve issues I've faced with a great deal of compassion and efficiency. I really do find her to be a great resource for all my health concerns, not just the standard OB/Gyn issues!

Dr. Mcdonald treated my wife and performed the surgery to remove polyps and ovarian cysts along with a host if other issues. Dr. McDonald is a compassionate, and gifted gynecologist and surgeon. I rate her 5 stars without hesitation!!

Dr. MacDonald seemed to know very little about hormonal imbalance issues. She talked too much, didn't make eye contact, and lectured me about perimenopause, telling me that "it isn't a disease," and that I should eat well and exercise in order to deal with it, both things I've done for years. She spent most of my appointment talking down to me about my persistent symptoms, and even challenged me to tell her how I knew I was in perimenopause. She had an impatient, annoyed air about her that made me feel chastised for asking questions and trying to take charge of my health. She did not perform an exam although I've had recurring ovarian cysts. I was referred to her by a doctor I like and trust, but I won't be returning.

I really liked this practice and how easy it was to make appointments. The wait was always very brief -- no more then 5-10 mins! The nurses are great and the office staff are friendly as well. Dr. McDonald is not a cuddly-wudly kind of doctor, but is very business-like and to the point. She will though answer all of your questions and will put your mind at ease. I liked that she was calm and very non-alarmist. She's been a great help and I loved having her as my Ob/Gyn until my insurance changed!

I am dentist and I felt she rushed through the exam, did not check everything throughly. When I asked her couple of questions, She said we'll talk outside and never showed up. I had been waiting for this appointment for more than a month. I was extremely displeased with the quality of treatment I received.
