Dr. Leslie S Meyer, MD

I started my medical history with Dr. Meyer when I was 2 months pregnant, in 2010. I chose her because this was my first child and I wanted a female doctor with experience and had children herself. She has an awesome bedside manner and provided great advise as I prepared for the birth of my child. Unfortunately, the little person would not turn (breach), so we had to schedule my delivery. The delivery was seamless because everything was in place with Mary Washington Hospital, and my mother was allowed in the operating room with me during the entire procedure. My daughter is now a healthy 9 year old. I still receive care from Dr. Meyer and anytime I have any concerns she is available to provide clear and honest answers.

Dr meyer is hands down the best doctor one could ask for. She's careing and knowledgeable and treats her pts wel . I have undergone a csection and a few other procedures with her and I honestly wouldn't trust my life with anyone else.

Dr. Meyer failed to identify that my baby was in the breech position even though I told her this was a concern of mine. She even had me scheduled for an induction past my due date without verifying my baby's position via ultrasound. Another doctor from her practice who was on call at the hospital sent me home when I arrived there having contractions. My baby was in breech position and a vaginal birth would have been out of the question. This doctor, and other doctors at her practice, put my child and me in danger.
