Dr. Leslie A Moroz, MD

We saw Dr. Moroz recently for my pregnancy. She always went out of her way to explain everything to us, spend the time needed at all of our appointments, and happened to be at the hospital for our delivery. We could not have been happier with her and the care we received for the birth of my son. I would recommend her to anyone.

I recently saw Dr. Moroz for my second pregnancy. We experienced some complications early on in the pregnancy and Dr. Moroz was amazing the entire time. She always spent extra time trying to help and reassure us as we went through the pregnancy. She went above and beyond to help us and was always responsive. I could not give her a higher recommendation as she was probably the most knowledgeable and caring doctor I have ever seen. I would recommend her to all of my friends.

In my 2nd pregnancy, I experienced some complications and was referred to Dr. Moroz by my primary OBGYN. She saw me multiple times during my pregnancy and did my delivery at the hospital. She was fantastic throughout the whole process - she was patient, empathetic and did a great job of managing my complications. She constantly followed up both pre and post delivery to see how I was doing. I could not be happier with my experience with Dr. Moroz and Columbia overall! Amazing doctor whom I would refer to all of my friends.

I don't ever typically write reviews. However, I had to share my experience with this doctor and the practice at Columbia (although I chose to have my appointments at a satellite location, conveniently located near Rockefeller ctr). I was a patient at another practice and had to switch doctors when I was 5 months pregnant! This itself was very nerve wracking. My previous doctors were incommunicative, abrasive and unresponsive about some serious issues and mine was a high risk pregnancy to boot. I can't believe my good fortune at having found Dr. Moroz and the practice at Columbia. Dr. Moroz was incredibly thorough in all respects. She had gone over all of my records prior to seeing me, followed up diligently with test results that hadn't been sent over by my previous doctor's office, sent me for additional tests to be absolutely sure that the tests results I came with were accurate, etc. The practice runs like clockwork. Dr. Moroz, the nurses, the ultra sounds technicians,… all knew exactly what I needed and I felt constantly supported. Any calls I made were promptly returned with answers to questions etc. I truly felt that I was in excellent hands and didn't even realize how poor a practice I had come from until I saw how efficiently this practice with Dr. Moroz and Columbia runs. Additionally, the secretary at this practice was responsive and helped me to get my medical records, and everything else I needed without pause. The ultrasound techs were friendly and supportive. More than I can say from other practices I have been too that were frustrating at best. This was my second experience with labor and delivery, plus being high risk. I can now compare various practices and hospitals and I can say 100% that the care, service, professionalism and bedside manner with Dr. Moroz and the practice in general were outstanding and far superior to anything else we have experienced. Dr. Moroz was fantastic. She saw me early in my pregnancy when a complication arose. She was warm, friendly, and down to earth in each of our interactions. She has a great ability to translate complex medical concepts into clear explanations and spent significant time with me explaining everything. I really felt comfortable with her as my doctor and she diligently followed up and monitored everything in my pregnancy until my delivery. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone as she is a fantastic doctor who really cares about her patients and their families.

Doctor Moroz was an amazing doctor to work with. I was very happy with the way she handled my pregnancy and delivery. I felt she was realistic when discussing my risks but also very supportive and offered effective ways to manage them. Her positive personality, warmth, and kindness were encouraging to me every time I saw her and I always felt she listened to my concerns. She was away on maternity leave for part of my pregnancy but came back before I had the baby and handled my delivery. The delivery was tricky at first but again she was positive and didn’t give up to make things work for me. After the delivery I experienced high blood pressures and Dr. Moroz called me to follow up and make sure I was OK. I would go back to her any time.

Dr. Moroz was a fantastic doctor - highly knowledgeable, caring and did a great job managing my wife’s pregnancy. We could not be happier with her as our doctor and will go back to her again in the future.

Dr moroz was my doctor for part of my pregnancy, before she went out on maternity leave herself. First, she never told patients she was pregnant, so I only found out she was pregnant when she was like 7 months- after me asking. Before she left, I was hospitalied with a placenta abruption and ended up delivering a preemie at 29 weeks. She never called or reached out since I had the baby. My doctor for my first Pregnancy was amazing and so caring but she left the practice so that is the only reason I saw doctor moroz. There are so many other Caring doctors at Columbia and she is not one of them. See any other doctor there with more experience.
