Dr. Less K Shrestha, MD

I waited over 5 months to get into Dr. Shrestna . He was very thorough as far as tests, but about 2 weeks after my apt. I go to my pharmacy to pick up unrelated meds and my pharmacist said I had new meds from dr. S. (Never received a phone call, mail, or any heads up) so I’m put on methotrexate which I had never heard of for a disease It hat I didn’t know I had. You would think I could get the courtesy of at least going over results and answering questions or concerns...but nothing. Then I go to my next apt. And he says that I don’t have lupus or rheumatoid and I only have osteoarthritis (which was untrue) but yet I’m remotely put on medication for a disease I don’t have? Absolutely mind blowing

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. My father and I would travel to Gainesville for treatment. Prior to finding Dr. Shrestha , I was disheartened. I was on a bunch of medications. Dr. Shrestha found the right meds for my condition. I was taken off a lot of unnecessary medications. He’s very thoughtful and his staff members are simply marvelous. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr.Shrestha.

If I could give zero stars I would. He told me all of my symptoms were from stress and to try ibuprofen. He then tried to prescribe me psychotic medication. I had to beg him to do blood work. I waited for four months for an appointment just for him to not believe me. Turns out I DO have an autoimmune disease that would have gone untreated if I listen to him and didn't get a second opinion.

He is friendly, respectful, inquiring, compassionate, thorough, polite, too the point & he listens to what I say. Plus he has a great sense of humor.
